All of these battles are great. The darlington battle between briscoe and Busch was great and the Chicagoland finish. Best finish to a race in recent memory. Very memorable battles.

I'm telling you that NASCAR will regret taking away Chicagoland's date. That 1.5-mile track is just like Atlanta only a little flatter and half a mile shorter. It gives you options, you can run high, low, and in the middle, plus the backstretch is not straight it is arched. If it weren't for those two consecutive off weekends, I would slide Chicagoland into one of those slots. I'll miss Kentucky though because of the last two finishes and the asphalt was finally gaining that second groove without the PJ1/TrackBite.

@@crypto091 Oh my bad, I was thinking of Michigan: Which happened to lose a date.

@@crypto091 As far as Atlanta Motor Speedway goes, now that they have their second date back for the first time since 2010, there should be no such thing as resealing the surface. The track needs to be repaved. It hasn't been paved since they reconfigured it in the Summer of 1997. I'm about to turn 30, and I was 6 when they did that while I was in 1st grade going on 2nd grade! All they should do is just tear out the old pavement and pave. Not adding progressive banking, changing the transitions of the turns, or manipulate the width. Do what Michigan did in 2012 where all they did was rip and pave to make it smooth.
