I feel like when she said I created you, it's like Olivia is trying to make the girl she's envious of seem like she's fake in OLIVIA's pov, but then Olivia's like, "wait she isn't actually bad, so why do I see her like that?" And it's because she's jealous of that girl, so if she had the perspective of that girl being fake and plastic and a pretender, it was all so she would feel better about herself since that girl obviously doesn't make her feel good about herself.

Personally i think victim is one of her best songs, and some of the most beautifully written lyrics i´ve heard. She did something wrong to a person she loved and wrote this whole story telling this person to hurt her even worse so she can feel better with what she´s done

here’s my take on pretender: olivia sings in perspective of a girl jealous of someone else so she convinces herself in her mind that the person she’s jealous of is actually pretending/faking it to make her feel better (when she’s not actually faking it) so when she says “i created u” it’s like she created this false version of the person in her mind

I think pretender is about Olivia being insecure, so she's projecting on another girl. She's making this girl out to be a pretender even though she may not actually be. Olivia is jealous of her, so she created the idea of her life being fake, because Olivia doesn't want to believe someone else could actually live the life she wants. So she's the actual pretender because she's pretending the other girl's life is fake to make herself feel better.

Yeah but also I feel that she is envious of this other girl so instead of being like “oh she’s so pretty” she’s more like “ugh she so fake and is pretending to be perfect”. I find that a lot of girls do this when they are jealous of someone especially when said person is more popular than them. So she created this image of this girl in her mind to where she is “plastic and deadly” when in reality she is just trying to “hide [her] own envy” which all in all makes her the pretender as well because she’s putting up this front that she’s perfect and isn’t hiding anything when she’s trying to hide that she’s envious of said other girl lol. But idk tho. Either way that bridge was a really smart twist in the song and really made me think lol.

Actually no. Tlgad is more about Rebecca's story & how people saw her. Not about what she or Taylor felt. It's less about insecurities & more about reacting to stories of two different women that were blamed for men's failures or struggles("the doctor had told him to settle down...it must've been her fault his heart gave out"). "The loudest woman" is what people said about Taylor & Rebecca, not what they actually are. Both beautiful songs tho
