Yup, the kid to the soloist to an enlisted Pvt. He did his album Golden live. I think he does his best vocals live. He knew when his concert was over it would be announced in a couple days about the last 4's leaving. He was calm and easy going....he was no longer the collaborator, he was just JK.

Watch the Weverse Golden Live concert where he sang all the 10 songs from the album including Still with You he wrote.n release it for free. His interactions with the audience was adorable. U’ll understand why he’s loved. It’s hard to find the full video bc they keep on taking it down. Some KZbinrs simply just separated them. I appreciate your respect for Jk n Bts.

I can’t wait until Jk releases a Korean album so we can get his actual writing. I don’t know how much lyrics he has in him, some people have a lot to say like Suga & RM.. but he’s the best lyricist out of the group. One song convinced me of that & that song is “Your Eyes Tell”. I recommend checking out the song & the story of how it came to be. It’s the best ballad they’ve released so far. Probably one of the best ballads I’ve ever heard. It is frustrating though that it’s in Japanese because they will only perform it in Japan.. 💜

Actually, the visual you are describing is JK’s high school entrance. The members went to both his entrance and graduation ceremonies. He didn’t graduate until 2017 which was the year of their international popularity explosion. In fact, a few of the members also went to his middle school graduation as well. Like BTS Jungkook plays with multiple genre on Golden. His genre preferences are definately more pop within the mix he still blends genre.

You always give so much information when you listen to a song, because you have so much knowledge about hip hop/rap history (and other music types). I really enjoy that! But also, do you think that hip hope reminds you of certain time periods because you're so knowledgeable about it? I think a lot of people break down "pop" music into specific time periods (and countries/regions), too, because they are so familiar with it. (I'm not!)

Anthony, I love your BTS reactions. I don't listen to much pop either( Only BTS) or a lot of rap( except BTS Clipping, Hamilton, and of course Eminem.). but I did like Yes or No and standing next to you. Anyway, I also love when you beat box. At 70 yrs old, I'm mesmerized by people who do this well. You said two great things in this reaction! First, I like how you said we all waited for their solo work and what did we want it to be? We want it to be them, so we should not want it to be anything.
