For Dynamite, when BTS received the demo version of it, they liked the song and decided to take it, it wasn't actually planned to do an English song, it just happened, yes I am pretty sure the label was like "yeah this could be a global English hit" , But I remember this one interview Namjoon was asked "Why do an English single?" He said it was a challenge for them, and that he actually tried writing Korean lyrics to it or making a Korean title but nothing worked out, so they decided why not take a risk and keep it in English. He said in the interview "the virus and pandemic, [the fact that] we can’t be on stage and have concerts anymore. Many things have changed, and my thoughts and my mind and myself have also changed, and now we’re giving a little crazy shot called “Dynamite.” That’s all I can say." Dynamite is really a global hit, it broke so many records in Korea and USA, and till this day after more than a year of its release, it's still gaining 1M views/streams on both Spotify and YT

Just a cool thing for you to think about.... in "SAVE ME" and "IM FINE" both of Rm's verses contrast and act as ambigram.. not only do they have opposite meanings but the lines are physically flipped as well.. Save Me : 1- "Thank you for letting me be me" 2- "For enabling me to fly, for giving me wings" 3- " For straightening me out, who was wrinkled" 4- " For breaking me out when I was feeling suffocated/boxed in, for waking me up when I was solely living in a dream" 5- "Because when I think of you the sky clears" 6- "I've given away a thing, such as sadness" 7- (Thank you for becoming "us") I'm Fine" 7-" Its okay, even if we aren't us" 6- " Even if sadness erases me again" 5- " and dark clouds come again" 4-" Even if I'm in an endless dream" 3-" And get wrinkled an endless amount of times" 2-" And my wings get torn" 1-" Even if I end up becoming someone other than myself, its okay because only I am my own salvation"

I love this Tiny Desk Concert. :) They all sound and look great, and the songs sound great in their live band versions. In fact, I'm Korean but I wasn't BTS fan before watching TDC bcoz of I thought Korean idol groups were many typical and similar concepts. In addition, the singing ability of Korean idol groups is almost similar. However, in the case of bts, it was good and surprising that they all had individuality. I didn't admit any Korean idol groups. there were only performance groups in typical forms. But I was surprised that they did so well when I saw this live show.

Their English songs were made as a way to reach as many people as possible, so they in the end decided to go with an English track. Since their all-English songs have been released during this pandemic, that's the baseline for their decision to sing in English. Sure, economic growth and global domination is a part of it, people are often predisposed to gravitate towards songs in a familiar language, but the members' main reason. Also, Dynamite was supposed to be in Korean as well, but it sounded more in English. Butter and PTD followed Dynamite for the reasons I already stated.

Omg this was so cute, they had me dancing and sing along to the three songs, the choice of songs sent e from being happy to sad and i went in a roller coaster of emotions. DynAMIte had me singing and dancing along and i so wanted to be that vinyl record so badly. Save Me had me in my feelings as i was smiling along, swaying and also Jimin, Tae and Jungkook dancing along to the chorus had me laughing so much. Spring Day i had a tear in my eye thru that song and the vocals during it had me in my feelings so badly. And dont get me started on their clothes, i mean Jiminie OMG i was just speechless and on a side note every members english has improved so much im just in love with it, also i love it when they perform with a live band as it just gives off another kind of vibe and its the best when they perform with a live band. also Save Me is one of the BTS songs I can't skip on my playlist and is in my top 3 of fav BTS songs.

Spring day is my favorite song of theirs, because of it's many layered meanings. Now it is been wishful song for the pandemic to end and 'spring' to come - it's been the longest 'winter' - but at the same time retaining all the other layers.. 💜 This has been a bad winter for me, took few steps back (with my seasonal depression), and, well actually slipped, twice, and both times broke my tailbone. :/ Usually this live don't make me bawl like this, and I can enjoy it as a hopeful song wishing the 'spring' to come soon. But today it also made me want to go to write my kinda "springday-story" about a friend's life he should have, not the one that he had and which was too short. Spring Day was originally written for the (young) lost friends, by RM.. So I'm to wash my face and off to writing. 💜

2020 is a year of first Out of the comfort zone They were supposed to be on a worldwide tour. So most of the songs they did as a fresh start And new format Tiny desks MTV unplugged Their Korean concert with live audience were cancelled twice October and December The Fallon week was superb I tend to forget life goes on We need more songs

Dynamite was actually released on their BE album November 20, 2020. It was first released as a single album, and then it was added to their BE album which was all about the Pandemic and how they dealt with it and sending healing and hopeful vibes to ARMY's and everyone all around the world.

Anyhony, I have the same feeling with you about "spring day", from the day first time I watched and heard that song, it feel so heavy, sad, hope and much emotion that I can't tell. And after I watched many video the meaning behind that song, it make it more heavy and I feel so much emotion everytime hear this song. It bring me for some strange exprience, I don't know why, spring day is my favorite song. And many army said this song is the queen of BTS song
