I was there and I have seen The Big Push live many times. Watching them play live is always a magical experience. It was inevitable that everyone else would discover them someday and they all thoroughly deserve this recognition.

Ren, Gorran Kendall (the other singer), and Romain Axisa (guitarist) all met while busking in Brighton. Would love you to see them do I Shot the Sherriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop (that's the best version, though they have done several versions of Sheriff.) They have some great original stuff too. Your enthusiasm has cheered up what is a very grey and rainy day here in England!

Gorran Kendall (the other singer) is currently travelling and busking around Europe. I believe Romain Axisa (originally from Toulouse, France) is still currently in Brighton. Like Ren, they both are solo artists as well. The drummer is Glenn Chambers (from Ireland).

The Big Push are Ren, Romain Axisa (lead guitar), Gorran Kendall (acoustic guitar/vocals) and Glenn (drums). Both Romain and Gorran have their own KZbin channels which are well worth checking out. Another great reaction. "The Big Push" (Ren Gill, Gorran Kendall, Romain Axisa, and Glen Chambers) busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are awesome and well worth checking out. All but the drummer sing lead vocals at times. The guy singing after Ren is Gorran Kendall, and the guitar solo was done by Romain Axisa. Their covers of "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop," "Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble so Hard," “War Pigs,” "My Generation," "An Englishman in New York," “Bongo Bong,” “These Boots Are Made For Walking,” the songs "Oh My Woman," “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," "Watch Out," “Dignity,” and so many others are equally impressive. The band performed their last official busking session and gave their last concert in September of last year due to the fact that Ren was leaving for Canada to undergo medical treatment for his multiple health issues, including surgeries.

Yeah same spot, ship street in Brighton by the church. Seems a lot (maybe all?) of their performances are done there. The guitarist is Romain Axisa, frenchman also doing solo work (he is back in France atm while Ren is in Canada)

Every single member of this band is incredible. I believe that gentleman's name is Gordon. If you want to see HIM shine? You should seriously check out The Big Push, Icarus . Damn And btw Ren is painted gold in it Then Acurus, it's an unplugged version. Softer edge to it. Also, amazing. I for one REALLY like it when a reactor takes the video back to see their favorite part. It shows genuine interest. In stead of clicking off because it's over. Ahhh yes! This was my introduction to Ren and The Big Push and I never get tired of it. I plunked a friend in front of this, and she was hooked too. And a few years later, finally they are all getting a growing audience that appreciate outstanding talent.

Hey man. With you on this journey. Alone and looking at all the music that discovering Ren has led me to. My birthday is tomorrow. I'm alone and we going to expect anybody to remember it and that's okay. I went to bed early just to let you watch some reactions and hear some good music. Most of which I've only discovered in the last few months. What I didn't expect was this video by you. It just came up in my feed and it was something I hadn't heard. Anyway I probably can't explain it right but I wanted to be sure you know what an absolute pleasure was to relax and sit back and enjoy the amazing musicianship and music along with your appreciation and attitude. I don't know what else going on if your channels I just got the impression that the beginning there was something. But then the music started... Just like you said it was like being there.. and to add to it you were there as well and enjoying it and appreciating it. We sharing the experience with someone this wild and crazy internet world. It may be lousy things going on.... But there are wonderful things... Life-changing things... As well. Enjoy and the shared experience even though unknown miles apart. I'm so glad you went back and listen to that part again and then we listen to the rest of the way. No idea how many other people were there.. I just neither I was connected to something special. Thank you.

Anthony Ray! Yes! It deserves another watch! I don’t know how I missed this one, but thank you for posting it! This is the dream team here!!! Their original songs are amazing (check out Dignity, Why My Woman and more!). They OWN any cover they do! This is the best vocal performance I have seen from Gorran Kendall (2nd singer). I hope you do more Big Push and check out Romain Axisa’s (guitarist) solo work, which is otherworldly… Ren, as we all know is a master musician! Gotta say, I always love Ren’s killer bass lines. His bass style is reminiscent of Entwistle of the Who.

So obviously it's live and for having such a small kit and basic mics the sound is amazing. It's a vibe and nobody is trying to outplay or show anyone up. It's also partially improvised - in a bunch of the busking videos Ren will turn to the others and motion to turn the tempo down but then they bring it back up. He usually turns to the other guitarist (I don't know his name)

This is one of the only Ren/Big Push performances I don’t love, even though I can still appreciate the skill. My favourite Big Push tune, which I’ve been playing on repeat, is their incredible cover of Englishman in New York. Just a fucking masterpiece. Not nearly enough reactions to that one!
