SUGA is so good at mixing traditional music with modern hip hop. He did it with Daechwita too and the draft of Autumn leaves had similar vibes. He is amazing producer

I'm thankfull for it everytime ! It sounds soo good !!! Sometimes I have people saying "it's a shame asian rap sounds just like U.S rap without adding some of their own cultural sounds" .... Ddaeng ! ;) (But it actually never sounds like U.S rap even without traditional music added. Just like french rap never sounds like U.S rap, and like Chinese rap and Korean rap are not the same, because the language itself always gives other vibes, unique vibes).

RM’s solo “Joke” is him showing off his flows and mimicking the rappers who only know how to imitate a basic flow after some insinuated he had lost his flow when he joined BTS…. They are all so talented but respond in such creative ways.

I think RM stuttering on his verse because he was mocked by one of the hosts in one of their interviews about his strange way of speaking and it was broadcast nationwide during their debut and how he can suppressed his annoyance at that time but then pour it into a song when BTS is as big as now, it's amazing

DKDKTV has a fantastic video the explains a lot of the word play that often gets missed due to the language barrier. Their word choices very seldom have one meaning and their raps are full of double and triple entendres.

I really like what you said about it seeming that they hold back a bit so that the other can shine, from my distanced understanding of their personalities and relationships, I can totally see this. Especially knowing that they write verses sometimes with the others specifically in mind, knowing they could kiiiiillllll that verse. Of course, they all always fuck.it.up. but I can also see them supporting each other in their presentation of their verses.
@Tale_MinDeulLe.0123 жыл бұрын
