We're finally getting Halo collectibles again and the Master Chief turned out to be pretty awesome. Will the generic new Spartan be able to hold his own or will we just be collecting named characters from this line?

Halo 2. Even though Halo 3 is a much more complete peak Halo package. I just prefer the fact that Halo 2 expanded on the Human and Covenant point of views. Halo 3 sorta pulled back on the world building the elites got in Halo 2.

Halo 4 personally since it came out right when I got into it, so essentially my first Halo besides CE Anniversary when I wasn't even old enough to remember. Plus, super rewarding to finish the campaign on Legendary and get the Master Chief armor for multiplayer (You can just download it for free in that game now, though). Second favorite is Reach. Beautiful storytelling and great characters.

Personally, Halo Reach is my favorite because it was my introduction into the series, plus I love the characters and story. It's a sad game if you get attached to the characters but it's just a work of art. SPOILERS: I LOVE the last mission! It's so cool how its basically an infinite level until you die, and then you know you get shown Noble 6's helmet like you see in the beginning cutscene of the game. Overall its just an amazing game to me.

ODST was my introduction but it's also the one I go back to the most out of all the games. I love the story, every team member was full of personality, and I love the audio files and the event that plays out for collecting them all.

They look ok a lot better that the previous gummy figures. The knee articulation was the first thing that I notice. When I saw the distance between the articulation pins I knew there was a problem. Not a Halo fan but I will probably get a Master Chief. Thanks for the review.

Halo 4? Damn, major props, man. People don't give that game the credit it deserves. I can understand people not loving the new art style, and I really do think they could have blended(?) them a little more. Other than that, it was a great game, with a phenomenal story. The multiplayer had some new features, some good, some bad; but overall I thought it was very enjoyable. Spartan Ops was a bit of a letdown, but still a fun idea. Overall, Halo 4 is an amazing game, and I really wish people wouldn't trash it so much. That being said, Halo Reach is my favorite game overall. I had been playing Halo since '03, but didn't get Internet in my home until 2010. Shortly after, I got Reach, (and Live) and the rest is history. I had played every Halo game before then, and I've gotta say that I prefer the campaign of CE to Reach; but overall I like Halo Reach the most. I made some amazing friends, some I still talk to this day, and one is basically a brother to me. The amount of hours I put into that damn game is more than I can begin to fathom, and I still play it even now. (Also, the Reach figures are amazing, hands-down McFarlane's best work with Halo. I was so sad to see that line go, along with McFarlane giving the license up. However, WCT's have seriously impressed me. I almost like the 3.75" inch figures more than the 6.5", but either way I love them all. I forsee great things for them in the future)

I haven't found these larger figures, but after watching some reviews of the smaller 3.75" figures, I went out and bought those. They're awesome. Bought the Warthog as well. I hope this line really takes off because I want more of them.

To me, the perfect perfect Halo is Halo 3. It was part of the Halo that I grew up with. I mastered that game inside and out and I wouldn’t trade a single second of it.

They need to listen to what you said about the Mattel line. Bicep swivel + swivel at the elbow to allow much better gun poses. Also great review! My favorite would have to be halo CE but reach is a close second. However after seeing halo infinite gameplay I think that's may change lol.

The pistol thing is called a disruptor and it not for direct combat, it is as the name emplies to disrupt and making a kill possibly less hard or to defend yourself

I'm just glad these are a step up from Mattel's line that felt fragile. The paint looks well done for a $20 figure. Hopefully they can improve the articulation with these. I picked this one up just by the paint and the fact that I like the color combination of red and black. Also my fav Halo was the first one. Had memories playing it, especially system link online.

Favorite Halo game would have to be Reach. I've played in person with a neighbor on her Halo-themed Xbox 360 way back when it came out. Played it online with a friend from work and a group of his friends. And its the only Halo game that I've actually played to the end of the story.

Have you checked out the 4 inch figures? For some reason they managed to paint the pegs in the arms and legs and they use a vertical hinge for the hands. Kinda odd they didn't here.

I always bouncing between Halo 3 and Reach being my favorite. Whether it's the art-style, the gameplay, or the characters. It just really depends. For now though, probably Reach for the Spartan and elite designs.

I got mine delivered today and the peg on the back seems to have been glued in place somehow although its halfway taken out. I cant seem to figure out how to get that piece unstuck, wont budge. Any suggestions?

Although I loved halo 3 so dearly. I absolutely loved halo four, master chiefs armor looked so nice, odd but you could really tell there was some emotion in the campaign as well. Which past halo games you didn't really get. But the story was amazing, the multiplayer was a change but it was still super fun

for me Halo 2 is my favorite Halo game period. The story and gameplay for me was perfect even though I enjoy Halo 3, Halo 2 is what I grew up playing and was my first Halo game.

Great video as always! My favorite is Halo CE. When I was a kid during Halo’s height (probably 2008-2009), I wanted to play Halo soooo badly because all the other kids at school did, and it just seemed so cool. However, my parents wouldn’t let me because it was rated M. That is, until one fateful day when my dad secretly let me download the Halo CE PC demo on his laptop out of nowhere. I remember it so vividly - it was the mission Silent Cartographer, and I played it over and over again, every day after school, exploring every inch of the island, doing stunts in the Hog, messing with the marines - it was utterly mind-blowing to me as a nine year old who grew up on Pokémon and Sonic. The slick 2000s aesthetic, the amount of exploration, the strange aliens, the mysterious ring horizon in the distance... I knew even then that Halo was going to be a huge part of my life going forward. And Halo CE was my first true experience of it, so it’s got my number one spot, even if Halo 2 is really the better game lol. On a side note, have you ever read the Forerunner Trilogy by Greg Bear? Since you liked Halo 4 I highly recommend it, especially because you like the Didact specifically. I remember I thinking he was cool and all when I first played 4, but after reading the trilogy a few months ago, holy fuck. He’s one of the most complex, tragic, and fully-realized characters the Halo Universe has ever had, and his story is both terrifying and fascinating. Def worth a read.

My chief is loose on the left arm and on the feet. Its sad but ohwell. Its a great figure but its more of a statue to me. Cuz of the loose joints I pose him that much

You can fix this by rotating the shoulder joint upside down (and spinning the bicep to face forward again)

Halo Reach, by far my favorite game to play. The story was awesome too. Crazy these only have horizontal wrist because the 4" Master Chief has vertical wrist hinges.
