It's a cool release, though personally I think it could have really benefited from cloth goods for the top. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea, but I think the range and overall look while posing would be significantly improved. Their recent Baki figure uses cloth goods for his shorts and I think they work quite well so it'd be cool to see Storm incorporate them a little more.

Fun Fact: The Head Sculpt is based on the actor Rich Divizio who portrayed Kano, Baraka, Shang Tsung, Kabal, Noob Saibot and Quan Chi in the early MK games.

My favourite design for Kano is MK3 but personality wise between the films and MK11. Still awaiting for mine to come but considering how good it looks can't wait.

I just bought the DK Mcfarlane batman. Loos supercool, but I was wondering about the many holes at the joints that get exposed. interesting that this seems to be the case with beefy guys like Kano here

The overlay kinda eats his neck a bit too much, he looks really goofy to me, but not that big a fan of the MK3 Kano design in general, here's hoping they'll eventually make more figures for later games, Kano looks really cool in Deadly Alliance and 2011

Storm scale is all over the place. Can you show the MK figures with other versions of Storm MK figures please? And when you review other Storm figures please try to compare them with other storm figures from that property and maybe other company versions of the same property? Keep up the most honest reviews anywhere!

I like Storm but for me they have too many licences. King of Fighters, Street Fighters, Mortal Kombat, Darkstalkers, Samurai Shodown, Soul Calibur, etc. It's cool but that also means not many figures for each licence. Ok maybe in ten years we will have a reasonnable choice of characters for each fighting game licence, but the old figures will be impossible to find. So we have to buy them all now and hope that they will make more. Maybe it's a clever business move but their figures are also really expensive. It's not Marvel Legends. And someone like me just can't afford to buy them all. So it's frustrating. I chose to buy only King of fighters figures because I already had mini statues of some characters that happen to be in scale with Storm scale (which is not 1/12 but more like 1/9) I will see in the future if they release action figure versions of the statues I have.

Yeah, I agree. He is too chunky. He doesn't look like that in the pics I saw. This is my favorite look for Kano, but slimmer.

Im assuming that you meant the Kano from the original live action movie, correct? I can't remember exactly how Kano looked in the new version. But, I really liked the original movie Kano, as well. I thought dude killed it. But, I also liked the Kano from the new movie... he was, imo, the best character and had the best lines. Sik

I prefer this Kano. I never liked the movie version because while most people think he's Australian, the actor is actually doing a terrible English Cockney accent and it makes me cringe and laugh every time I hear it. He did look good though.
