Ricky had been given advice at every one of his auditions to 'smile' and to ' drop the South Doubt & believe in himself' .. he lacked confidence, still I would have LOVED to see his potential grow in the live shows. Ricky & Louise out? Good joke. Even though their performances on that day may not've been spot-on, she should've at least taken into consideration what they sang before. Still overall so much better than Gio, who in all honesty had his best performance, but still... EDIT Plus as far as I'm concerned, this talent show's about the voice, not the courage level. So the argument that the contestant is "lacking courage" is simply valid. Besides, you're their freaking coach, YOU are supposed to learn them how to boost that damn self-confidence. And just because of that argument they reject HUGE voices, like Ricky, Shanaya or Nicole Caldwell.

If Ricky kept his mouth closed about how disappointed he was at the end of the song he would've made it. Ayda made the right choice his had numerous opportunities to step up and believe he just hasn't taken it. To get the safe seat says it all now you should fight, his attitude in the end was terrible. This x factor is going to be a good battle and I seriously do not dislike anyone for the first time

They aren't doing the wildcards. The only way they'll think of bringing a replacement in is if another act is disqualified (like Frankie Cocozza in 2011) but with only 7 weeks of live shows that's unlikely to happen. There's a double elimination every week until the final

I think Ricky has a big potential, but everytime he sings he gets so red forcing himself. I don't think he would connect with people, cause he lacks some personality. I do think he is better singer than Gio, but Gio was fighting for it. It was a big mistake not take Louise, cause she was the best singer in this category and she has a sweet personality. I have the feeling The Overs this year are not going far.
