I think it's a bit strange how Anthrax isn't more popular. This song is probably the most radio friendly as early 80s thrash gets (clean, melodic vocals, Malcolm Young -style flowy rhythm guitar, reasonably short, catchy etc.), and this is probably the earliest that a thrash metal band had a music video produced, way before Metallica and Megadeth got theirs in the 90s. Even just this song alone could have carried them into the mainstream the same way Enter Sandman (and Symphony of Destruction to a lesser extent) did, but years earlier.

for people say anthrax didn't deserves big four spot, just remember anthrax was one of the most unique and recognizable in term of original characteristic sounds just like megadeth, slayer, and metallica. Their influence later can be heard in crossover thrash band like suicidal tendencies,DRI, nuclear assault,SOD and municipal waste. it's something that bands like overkill, testament, exodus dont have, signature original sounds.

Trapped, in this nightmare I wish I'd wake As my whole life begins to shake Four walls, surround me An empty gaze I can't find my way out of this maze 'Cause I don't care Fall in, fall out Gone without a doubt, help me I can't take the blame They don't feel the shame It's a madhouse Or so they claim It's a madhouse Oh, am I insane? I was 12 years old when this album came out. Spent my entire childhood on government assistance and only had music & sports to give me happiness. Discovered self-improvement books around 16 years old and learned that you can work 7 days a week towards your goals while being a metalhead at the same time. I became a private yacht captain who's traveled the world for 25 years and just turned 50 years old. When all hope is gone...own your mistakes... improve yourself daily....work harder than everyone else and listen to Anthrax as motivation. Your friends will be calling you "Lucky" before you know it. Thanks for the lifelong inspiration, fellas. 🤘🏼

This song is the first Anthrax song I ever heard. I was around nine years old and just loved how heavy it was. This was considered very heavy back in 1986. Over thirty years later I am still a huge Anthrax fan and this is still my favorite song from them. They are still putting out great music.

Seeing scott ian jumping all around the stage , joey doing his things... just wow Joey was teasing me all the time and i was feeling really great and the show was just sth i will never experience again it was great.
