After listening to this chapter, I imagined what I would do next if I were the author of this fan fiction. I imagined I would write that Lyra would as the very first thing, now that she was settled, go to the closest library, go to the childrens section, and immediately familiarize herself with the basics of the world. Instead, Lyra goes and joins a rock band, and that wasn't a bad author decision, because my assumption had two flaws: 1. Going to the library would be a very "Kevin" thing to do, not a "Lyra" thing. If I were in her position, that's what I'd do, but it makes more sense with Lyra's personality that despite her interest in humans, she isn't hugely bookish regardless. 2. Fish out of water stories are common, and in most cases, delaying the characters' acclimation is necessary to draw the story out. If the aliens in Third Rock from the Sun had immediately visited the library and learned about human culture, the primary source of conflict and humor would have been deminished.

It's pretty great that you're drawing for this already, on top of being the main voice talent (by character, I mean; I don't wish to detract from all the other wonderful people). It's always fun to see what scene the drawings are tied to. Love this whole thing going on, btw. Great audio play/drama and I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment.
