Grats. Am watching this because my Queen is pushing out her first inflo right now. Am sooo excited already to collect it's pollen for the next inflo afterwards! It's my first Anthurium inflo in general.

Yay, so much fun. I'm slowly getting into anthuriums. The only one I had was a regular andreanum, although I didn't want more of it, I pollinated it. The seeds were tiny compared to yours. They weren't in the best condition because I let her dry out a little too much. But they sprouted. They are the smallest things ever. I recently got a Baby Silver Blush (at least it was sold as one). Now I am waiting on my ecuagenera order 🥳

Congrats! I have around 90 anthurium villenaorum seedlings and I dont know where to put them when they get bigger 😂🤣 they are currently fighting for space in a small propagation box hahaha

I am testing picking some of the berries earlier, right when some start turning red. 13 were picked still green, 7 started to turn red. This so that I had 14 seeds from each. So maybe berries with two seeds ripen faster? My plant is double the size though. Which might be relevant.

my anthuriums are not mature enough yet to flower, but I did buy some forgetii seeds. They were doing great, but I went away for two days, came back and most of them turned brown. Don't know what happened, but I am very sad and am desperately holding on to them even though I know they are dead

They will grow up super fast, don't you worry! I'm very sorry to hear that about your forgetii seeds :( Could be the lack of moisture, temperatures or just bad seeds. Don't beat yourself over, I've killed a dozen (': Hopefully you manage to find some new ones soon!

Most have sprouted their first leaves, some are working on their 2nd, some may end up being variegated :D Will do an update!

Hello. How wet should i keep the mix? And how long does it take to see a leaf? i saw mold last wk.

Hi I ususally keep it moist but not soaking wet. If you see mould your seeds could still have some berry leftover on them - mould grows easy on it. Or try to ventilate more! For the leaf it depends, I'd say about 2 weeks. Rost first and then you get a leaf!
