When I was in my 30’s and 40’s, I always used moisturizer on my face and neck. I was using regular old hand/body lotion! I had no idea I should’ve been using something different!🙈 Thanks to KZbin and Angie’s videos, monthly facials/dermaplaning, and Retin A, my 58 year old skin looks amazing! Angie was inspirational 10 years ago (I think) for the immense improvement of my 42 yrs old skin. My adult acne cleared up using her daily routines (Cerave was front and center at the time). Now, in menopause at 52, I have watched MANY over 50 influencers and I find myself still drawn to adopt Angie's routines. I’m 46 and I’m a huge fan of skincare products! I started using anti wrinkle creams in my 20s. SPF and sunscreens don’t work on my skin. I use everything but I’m a huge fan of the Ordinary, Neutrogena and now I’m using L’Oréal derm intense cleansing gel. I use sheet masks, aha bha chemical peels, a cleansing facial brush instead of my hands and facial tools.

I had to use it for acne when I was forty , thirty years ago. Red and dry. Now there is a micro gel at a higher concentration. Nano packaging is costly. However your doctor can fax the prescription to Canada and one ounce costs $200. Pricey. It is the gold standard and in the USA they want $800. For a thirty year old product?

I’ve said this before, but I’m so thankful I found your channel over the Covid shut down! I’m using this exact same routine- I’m 52 & my skin is aging in reverse now- it is smoother, softer, plumper, has diminished fine lines & age spots. I only Botox the 11’s & just added the Nira laser device about 2 months ago & can see a great reduction in fine lines around my mouth. With this routine, I feel like my skin now easily looks better than when I was 40 because it is just healthier and more vibrant. I will actually leave the house wearing only sunscreen & mascara and feel 💯 confident. 😊

I have use led and microcurrents for years. However, my most effective device is the tria age-defining at-home laser device no one ever seems to be talking about. It can be slightly painful (comparable to microneedling pain) but it gives the BEST results.

I am working my way through my sunscreens because they take up too much room in my bathroom. Might try the R&R next, though concerned with pilling, which I had with the Maelove, a similar formula. Not as fussy with body sunscreens but fussy about the face ones.

Angie I cannot believe how great you look, instead of 10 years older than 50 you look 10 years younger than 50. So glad I found you. My issue was my neck, and using the OmniLux plus Retrinal has made a sea change there. My face definitely looks better. I use OmniLux, NuFace and most of the same things: Vit. C, Lactic and Co Q10. I almost never change my routine now since my skin seems happy. At night after Tretinoin and Retrinal I have been using the La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermallergo Creme, which has made my skin so happy. Never waking up with crusty skin again! RevitaLash and on my brows at night, I use Rapid Brow, really because I love the spoolie in that serum.

100% true that it’s never too late. I started my routine after age 70 and have definitely seen improvements. My friend constantly says, “Don’t you ever get wrinkles!?” While I started with very good skin even at my advanced age, I definitely have improved the wrinkles and a couple age spots. Go, skin care! I saw a dermatologist talking about the nuface she said not to stop at side of the neck but try to take it as far to the back of the neck as you can so it doesn’t stop right there on the side. I’ve been doing this for a while and think it’s definitely helping

The only product that I have added to this routine is bifida 70%. I photocopied your routine (less the house that do not do business with Puerto Rico) to the "t" over a year ago.. it is pristine. You can see how much fresher your skin looks from the beginning of the post to the end of your regime and all the products have been applied....I think we definitely do have to do at least some skin care as we get older, once menopause has happened and our body is not making all the hormones and enzymes etc that it used to, we have to apply them in creams and lotions. 👍👍

Have a seen a difference!! People think I’m still in my 20’s and I now have the best skin I’ve ever had. Hi Angie, thank you for your great advice! I have watched nearly all of your videos, using some of the recommended products and am seeing some good results on my 65 year old face. A word about Botox: be very careful around the hairline. I suffered from horrible migraines for a few years and used Botox as a last resort administered by a neurologist. I had thick full hair before. After two years of quarterly injections I have a terribly receded hairline and a lot of hair loss over my ears. My hair was my pride and joy. I can’t tell you how horrible I felt when I realized it was the Botox. Hair loss is something they do not list as a side effect, but Google it…hair loss is common.

I started using The Ordinary Lactic Acid, and their salicylic acid every morning and evening, a couple months ago...and I'm not kidding, I have been getting compliments on my skin every other day. Also, some people have told me I look different, but they just can't figure out why lol. One guy I know asked me if I was losing weight or something because he said I looked different but he just couldn't figure out why 😄 It's my SKIN that looks so much better! I use them in addition to my Tretinoin. My skin is baby smooth, and my pores are so much less visible! I highly recommend the Lactic Acid. It takes time, but the results are definitely there

I have to admit I have never my entire life had a morning skincare routine. I wake up and slap on some thick moisturizer because I have dry skin then throw on sunscreen before I leave the house. I SEE YOU BEAUTIFUL....SIXTY headliner and it NEVER looked younger! 💗 Looking younger at 60 than you did at 50, TOTAL SCORE! Yes, long time follower, Angie groupie, a real Hot and Flashy junkie so I can attest this routine WORKS. The main thing is consistency and S U N S C R E E N. If you fail at that protection you lose the ground you make with product. So slather up and stay consistent! *Also consider back sleeping. Angie has content on back sleeping so you don't scrunch up that face 6 to 8 hours...again avoid subtracting from the smoothing you do with these products.

Watch her evening routine video she tells you she puts tretinoin around her eyes but then her next step serum she rubs on her eyelids which transfers the tret to her eyelids as well but so it doesn't irritate them

I can't thank you enough for changing my skin. The Timeless Vitamin C with ferulic acid is an absolute game changer. And I wouldn't be without The Ordinary Lactic acid nor the Timeless Coq-10 serum. I use several of these products that you mentioned from watching your past videos. There's one thing I forget to do and that's to apply products to the back of my hands. Oh boy! And do they need help!!! My hands don't look 72. They look 85!! All of my adult life my hands have looked older than my face! Thank you for the reminder, Angie!

Great comment. I started doing Angie's recommendation for backs of hands, and, importantly, using sun protection gloves when I drive ( I live in SoCal). I already have a lot of spots, but they have faded significantly, and no new ones. My derm was impressed with my hands, as she sees a LOT of old hands in her practice. I am 75, and doing as much as I can. Angie's videos were the first ones I started watching 3 years ago. I learned from her videos that it all takes time, so I am trying to be patient!

There are so many products out there it's very difficult to know what really works and what is safe!!! I've subscribed to your channel for years and always enjoy what you have to say! I am glad you are doing well after some life-changing events and your skin looks as good as ever! You hit that magic age of 60! Hello from The Netherlands, instead of a separate sunscreen with spf i ordered a hyaluronic daycream with spf in it, was this a good choice? , i,m 57 and have combination skin, oily/normal and don,t want to much layers, enjoy you video,s and...you are beautiful!

Speaking of devices…. CurrentBody recently came out with a led Lip Perfector. And of course I bought one. The absolute best results I’ve seen so far is with led light therapy. (I also have the OmniLux) The Lip Perfector only take 3 minutes a day to use, I literally just got it 2 days ago. Price is $170.00. Pricey, yes. But I feel it’s an investment with amazing results.

I have been following you for a year. Learned so much. Just in the past month I am seeing so much difference in my skin for the better it’s so glory now. The only thing I haven’t been able to help so my very dark under eye circles. And trying to cover with concealer has not went well. Products you call your holy grail are a big thumbs down for me. I have tried so many products and nothing helps. If it covers settles in to wrinkles. Setting powder makes look dry. If I can get those circles under control my skin will be wonderful for a 61 year old.

I use the Omnilux and NuFace along with the products you recommend and boy what a difference!! For the NuFace I use Aloe vera gel and it's not my imagination, it helped my dark spots so much! Aloe will sting your eyes but it is magic for my face. Fruit of the Earth Aloe is the brand I use, cheap and worth a try for anyone wanting to test it on their dark spots. Thank you so much for the hard work you put in for us. 🥰

@@MISSYMINX261No, Using the NuFace but with Aloe instead of their gel. If you have a NuFace it's worth a try to switch to Aloe for a while. Also, I use the products Angie recommends and I use Retin A now but I started everything very slowly and one at a time. I use an oil or heavy cream over my Retin A for moisture at night. I can't use Vitamin C I discovered.
