Anti-Cheat: Not A Priority To Valve

I get the feeling that there's little to be done, and that why there's no new anti-cheat. Even if they make an incredible anti-cheat, it seems like hackers are just as smart and are able to get around it. Sparkles showed the long list of hacks and ways that hackers can still play even when blatantly cheating. Personally, I'm a pretty low elo, and I haven't run into SO many blatant cheaters that it makes me not want to play... like I still have enough fun with friends to keep playing... but it's frustrating knowing that so many players that have played for thousands of hours are not only dropping the game but hoping it takes a nosedive because of valves lack of action...

Not true. They released a bug ridden mess with dozens of untested exploits (that took years to discover and fix on the old game) to the public in a game with an atmosphere that encourages cheating (1 tap youre dead round over try again), there is no game with AS many cheaters as counter strike, and all of them have been banned more than 5 times due to overwatch. Valve makes millions off cheaters alone each year. If they made any improvements to the AC for CS2 they need to hire different people or outsource their AC solutions, which they won't, because they don't care if you're playing vs cheaters or not, they care if ppl are playing and I've been looking at the playercounts every week and people still continue to play this game when there has been rapid fire in the game for cheaters. No thanks. At some point you're going to have to finish the game you started.

There's probably a cheater in your friendgroup telling you to keep playing cause it'll get better vaclive ai wohoo its cranking soon. surely another aimware banwave ~60k accs will fix the community plagued with cheaters.

honestly this issue is way overblown. I guarantee 99% of people who complain about cheaters are just mad that they lost. When I got my rank I was 5,000 elo, and every game somebody on the other team would call me a hacker without fail. I've played about 30-ish games now, I'm 15,000 elo, and I can confidently say I only came across one hacker in all of my games. This "issue" will be fixed with time, as ranks will stabilize and people get back to the same rank they were is cs:go

I only have 40 hours in CSGO and CS2 combined as of now and I def prefer CS over valorant, so many ppl (like me) still like and come to CS! I despise hero shooters @@galxyt30

Part of me actually hopes CS dies. This is yet again another example of a billion dollar company giving their base the finger for profits. Sub tick was 100% a gimick devised because they were tired of hearing how much better 128tick is and the outcry for it from the community could be quelled. At this point CS2 is a beautiful pile of hot doodoo to play that should not have been released.

if you want to Know WHY Anti cheat is BS in games. the explanation is pretty simple.... the MAJORITY of their "PAYING" CUSTOMERS are cheating on games..... if they "ban" them all they will lose more then 50% of their Income... its That simple really..... this goes Not only for Valve but rather for ALL "Big" games developers so simply said: Banning cheaters is Unprofitable... Now you have the truth and what will happen whit cheating in the future :P

Which means they sold out the players who refuse to cheat expecting to be able to play without cheaters. Valve is corrupt and doesn't deserve the CS IP.
