the method of lowering the resolution would definitely lower frame times (amount of time it takes for your gpu to render a frame) at a 144 fps, if your gpu is fully utilized, each frame would take ~6.9 milliseconds to render but lowering the resolution allows your gpu to reach that 144 fps in less than ~6.9 milliseconds, to let's say 3 milliseconds, you're seeing each frame 3.9 milliseconds sooner, and experiencing input delay 3.9 milliseconds less. congratulations on having senses strong enough to feel that difference 2:44 multi-threaded rendering is probably not the right term here, but the case of the game being cpu bound would limit the fps without increasing frame time (input delay), but in some cases cpu limitation can increase frame time, for example, if the renderer (gpu) and game logic (cpu) are running on the same worker thread, it'll introduce delay because the renderer has to wait for the game logic to finish, but separate threads would allow the game renderer to do what it's doing while game logic is still running (roblox as an engine already does this until you implement graphical changes, if i'm not mistaken) your ram issue presented in the video is likely just a bios misconfiguration, by default your bios will pick a safe option to boot with, but it won't find better options itself. if you used to have 1 stick of ram and then got another, it's possible that the ram sticks are ever so slightly different that they both cannot run at 3200 mt/s, low ram speeds can introduce input delay and frame rate issues in cpu bound cases.

3:49 Ram runs slower than it says on the box unless you have XMP and stuff on (check in your bios) or if its overclocked. At least thats what my pc did with my ram.

So, if you have 2400 Mhz on your RAM and you paid for 3200, Go into your Bios and overclock your RAM shortly, there are guides on how to do that so i suggest going watching one of those, the speed they advertise is the overclocked RAM speed, don't worry it won't annahilate your PC. It's the common shit, dw.
