I absolutely do not get the TF tutti frutti release. With the rest of the collection sitting in TJ maxx (and not even selling out there btw) why would they feel the need to release even more in the collection? It’s confusing and I think it’s destined to be a flop. 🔮🔮

The Morphe x Saweetie palette was an interesting pair. The palette doesn’t scream Saweetie to me. It seems more like a palette she’s promoting rather than Saweetie making it her own.

Ebony Nikita definitely agree! It didn’t have her name on it, I think she was just the face of it for marketing, like how celebs are w perfume brands/commercials. I love saweetie but girl was always struggling w the palette and shadow names, so she clearly didn’t develop it in partnership a morphe 😅

No Morphe "collab" has any real input from the person whose name is on it, LOL! Morphe selects premade, white-label palettes, and sticks someone's name and/or face on it... Saweerie just licensed her name & likeness, the same way Jaclyn Hill, James Charles, and all the others did, and got paid, plus more promotion (I've personally never heard of her prior, and still have no clue what she does...).

I definitely think there’s a big difference in how much I trust a one-off skincare product from a makeup brand, such as the Charlotte Tilbury magic serum, and a dedicated sub-brand such as Fourth Ray Beauty. Skincare and makeup are far too different for me to trust a makeup brand to formulate a serum (and vice versa). So until I see an ingredients list, I generally don’t have high expectations.

Amy Stokes same. I haven’t bought new makeup in like 5-6 months. And the makeup I did buy months ago were staples I didn’t have. Everything in this industry is so recycled and redundant after a certain point. I honestly don’t get how more people aren’t either bored or broke...or both.

Honestly, the only brands that are even worth watching are indie brands... but like, even then, I cannot justify buying from them most of the time. Then again, I am buying a new foundation and concealer from my job that I don’t need... and we finally got a colourful eyeshadow brand besides NYX - Moira Beauty! So that is the first time I have been excited about makeup for a long, long time. (I always like to strictly buy brands that we sell because I want to be able to trial run products myself to give good advice to my clients.)

Idk Julia. Elf’s hemp oil works really well for my psoriasis, eczema aka redness , inflammation& dry skin. I have a more expensive brand of hemp oil and they do similar things. So that essence line might be ok ?!

I’d love to hear your opinion on projects pans! To me I just don’t understand why you’d force yourself to wear a certain product if you’d prefer to wear another one? Obviously if you pan it naturally that’s great but so many accounts that are dedicated to it seem to just be forcing themselves to use it. Also I’ll see them have pallets which have been out for just over a month and they’ve already hit pan on half the shades, is that even possible? Natasha Denona Mini-Retro is on my wishlist, just waiting for some more reviews to see it in a similar skin tone, as I don't like shadows tha pull pinky-peach on my eyes.
