I know what you're gonna say. Why are you using stun again?? How could you?? You've fallen to the dark side!! Well yes, I have. My previous video using this deck was actually a lot of fun lol. Aaaand as you know, going second in the current Yugioh is basically a death sentence UNLESS you run a deck like this. So here I am. This time in the Qualifiers 2024.
Also, there's a bonus Umi duel at the end because yes, I still use Umi and probably won't stop. Thought it was cool since it was sorta fire vs water, although I guess Rescue Ace are pro-water since their firefighters?? I dunno man, it made sense it in my head lol.

i play Umi Control and let me tell you: this deck does NOT work against me :) also, if your going second, this deck is probably also not gonna work

Well yeah but Umi basically does the same thing as this deck lol I literally use Umi in this video 😂 yeah going second is tough (but that's every deck except like Mikanko lol)

The reason why the deck works is because those latest META monsters devolved into being nothing more than non-spell/trap spell/trap cards for the sole purpose of being sacrificed for the big bad in an excessively long chain. Meanwhile they exemplify exactly why you should have removal in the form of a non-monster card. Negates have always been about limiting the player. The only difference here is that those limits aren't once for one thing per turn. And because their monsters are useless without their special summoning effects, they aren't so tough when you limit or take their one crutch away from them.

Yeah completely agree with this. Tbh I don't mind the long combos in an opponents turn (I don't love it, but can deal with it lol) BUT what really annoys me is when the opponent plays during MY turn
