I dont get this. Perhaps i don’t have a say because im coming from south africa, been here for 7 years and i can understand why the Irish is so bloody fedup. We left our country because of the crime, my wife was raped and my son was almost part of human trafficking when he was just 6 years old. I had to submit hundred of paperwork to get into Ireland, im a law abiding citizen paying my taxes and working up to 16 hours a day sometimes if not more as a driver. Do these refugee bashers even understand what its like when you see how your family gets destroyed, my wife is on anti depression medication till this day and they want to allow people into the country that have no paperwork. This year it will be my third police clearance i have to submit to secure my stay, and they have all these unknown people coming in again. Im all for helping people but not if it affects my family.

Absolutely right. I am an immigrant and believe me immigrants who had to process months of waiting and then trying to keep on job for years are more disgraced for those who just comes and burns their passports or so called getting thousands of euros help and do nothing for the community. If i had a vote I would end this open border and whoever doesn't have passports wont let them enter the country and let them stay in airport without money or income untill they confess where they are from or without a valid visa just sent back to where they came directly without questions
