You need to understand that the continuity between the Macedonian state of Alerxander was broken for more than 2000 years, that is a fact. Also, the territory of the current Macedonian state is in a location called in the Antiquity - Paeonia. You could have better luck seeking your ancient origin in the Thracian tribes - paeoninans and Briges. There are very vague circumstances on naming this territory Macedonia, which it never was in the Antiquity. Your ancestors called themselves proudly Bulgarians, you need at least to respect that, no matter what you identify as now.
