What happens in case of a cut. If you keep riding with the nail it will tear open the tube. To remove the nail you need to first know there is one in your tyre, until you know it will tear apart the tube, wouldn't it?

The tube tears when ridden below recommended air pressure due to the protruding spokes. In case of Formula X The gel coat will not allow the tube to loose air in an event of a puncture. So you can safely ride without getting stuck. You can search on KZbin 100km on a punctured tyre with Formula X. All you need to do is check your tyres and remove the nail. A short ride will automatically repair the puncture.
