In Ukraine we know about these two groups at least a year. Their leaders are well known among Ukrainians. They appeared on our Ukrainian TV marathon, called FREEDOM, at least twice. At there were at least 10 interviews with them and Ukrainian well-known vloggers. Most of these fighters are native Russians, or at least they are Russia citizens.

Somewhat ironically Russia has been withdrawing troops from the various republics because of the need to replace those lost in Ukraine. Much to the pleasure of the local population who cheered the Russians leaving. Apparently there is a report based on a couple of Ukrainian pilots who flow F-16 simulators in the US which surprised the instructors as to how well they did. The report states that they thought the Ukrainian pilots would only need four months training to complete the conversion.

If these are genuine groups made up of Russian citizens who want to end the war, want a different Russia (as I've seen one claim not so restrictive,) then I am in awe of them and wish them well. It isn´t even Back-moot, it´s closer to Bakh-moot or Bahh-moot. The "kh" is a sound not used in English. A non-sonorous "h", basically a breath. It´s also common in Hebrew and Arabic. But I agree, it´s not such a long and hard word to pronounce, no idea why she pronounces it wrong.

It's an excellent time for a Ukrainian counter offensive. It's also an excellent time for all Russians to rise up and finally rid themselves of the Putin plague. I hope every Russian resistance group all rise up and finally bring some sanity back to Russia. It's also perfect time for any region that wants to break away from the Russian Federation to put that plan into effect. I am really hoping to see Putin handed over for to the international tribunal to face war crimes and crimes against humanity.

I feel the F16 saga has more going on than meets the eye. I would be shocked if Ukrainian pilots were not training in F16's or at least simulators at minimum from mid last year. I suspect the timeframe for when the Ukrainian pilots will start using F16 fighters is shorter than portrayed. The times where Biden was not agreeing to F16's were also surely when training was being conducted. Also, what benefit is there to making things predictable to the Kremlin? I doubt that would be done.
