I made a Smalls bit kit and used alternative ways to stop the rattling. It's for just in case use, but has every size flat and phillips head 1/4" bit in it. In other words completely full. So instead of the squash clamp, after putting a piece of scrap loop side Velcro on the inside of the lid and heat shrink tubes on the inside edge, I just sealed the tin together by wrapping the tin, opening to hinge side, with electrical tape and that stopped the bits from moving side to side, causing the rattle. But that's not what I'm commenting about. I found, quite by accident, the perfect belt carry nylon pouch for the Smalls tin. A shop I was in a while back had a surplus of Via Cycle 11 In One Bicycle Tools that have nylon/Velcro pouches. The pouches are a bit longer than the Smalls tin but hold the tin securely. The extra length allows me to store a Fenix E01 Version 2 flashlight at the opening with the closer down. I have a elastic band ran through the flashlight keyring, with the loop over the closer, so that, when the pouch is closed, should the flashlight be bumped loose, the closer will keep it from falling and getting lost. The bicycle tools were marked half price, less than $4 when I bought mine. eBay has a few available, very few, for around $8. (I just checked). Granted, not the cheapest solution for belt carry, just a option/idea. I figured that the pouches alone were worth $4, so I snagged two.

I'm sorry but a tic tac box with printed out pictures of huge tic tacs is the most suspicious looking thing ever.
@MeZillch5 жыл бұрын
It looks horribly fake under close examination, depending on the quality of your photograph.
@benholland76095 жыл бұрын
Just an idea, if you put a piece of tracing paper under the tictacs before you scanned them it might be more believable
@MeZillch5 жыл бұрын
Yes, it could be better. Thanks for the tip.
@benholland76095 жыл бұрын
MeZillch it might also just make the whole photo look white, that’s why I suggested tracing paper but it might still have the same effect
