When I first heard anti romantic it resonated with me, when I first read the lyrics I felt like it described the way I felt about love, hearing your translation perfectly encapsulates how I feel and what I’m experiencing at the moment. I have this overwhelming affection for this one person and I thought they felt the same way but in the end it’s only my heart that’s chasing them and not theirs and now I feel so didn’t out from everything that’s happening as I was chasing this idea of what could be but is not going to be, I get happy when I see them but I don’t want these butterflies anymore.

I understand the feeling. I’ve felt like this before too and it plays with your mind a lot, sometimes it can get overwhelming and you don’t know how to deal with the feelings. I’m not a very “mushy” person, you could say, so re-writing the translation felt right to me. I think it’s a matter of letting go but you have to accept that it will take a lot of time; you just have to be patient - don’t chase, attract!
