Ridiculously well produced. The atmosphere was phenomenal. Only thing I'd criticize is the Combine voice overs. They sound less processed then they should be. I can understand coming from an objective view to make their dialogue understandable, as in game it's so heavily vocoded to a point where you don't understand half of the time, but I wouldn't mind subtitles and a more accurate voice over just to add to the atmosphere. Regardless, can't wait to see more.

Fantastic stuff all around. The animation was slick, the atmosphere and tone was something I've been looking to see in machinima for years, and you've got me intrigued about what's happening with this rather reckless officer (who seems to have some power in the UU - enough to get away with murdering Overwatch soldiers). My only criticism would be that you could use some extra voice actors. If I can afford to purchase a decent microphone in the future, I'd be happy to help you in the future if you were ever interested. Other than that, fantastic stuff. Subscribed.

plot suggestion: a vignette on just how unique the anti-soldier is. put him into a giant mass of soldiers and show his awareness and fear of being a part of it. The psychological aspects of having to act as a part of the mass to fit in and not instantly get caught. And maybe witnessing brutality, like maybe even beyond the level we've seen already. I love this though. Its probably the best hl cinematic I've come across, excellent work!

Some things don't make sense, some things are cheezy, but overall I like it. It's really interesting idea with big room for imagination. I would personaly enjoy it more if it stuck more to official lore. Anyway I really love visuals and voice acting. I look forward to next episode.

One problem here. I am pretty sure that the "Elite Civil Protection" unit, in roleplaying communities this model is used as a "CmD", would NEVER shoot an OTA, more likely he would just order the OTA to send reserves or just ASK DISPATCH FOR ADVICE. It was just a way of making him look "Evil" and "Edgy" as all the baddies do. This could also get the CmD or ECP deserviced and recycled for 243 "Assault on Protection teams". Aside from that, good animation. Just don't make the Combine look stupid by wasting troops like that.

Raider Fox It is unknown how Combine work. Fans debate between what is a stereotype and what is canon, since most of the information was taken from HL2RP and Machinimas (yes, this is very strange). We have one fact, stated by Marc Laidlaw - Synth class is higher than Human Soldier. CP is a human, but person he have killed - nope. In that situation, i agree. Synth can take more liberties to act in that cabinet they were.

But the problem is that he SHOT a Human synth, which is non-canonical as Overwatch Transhuman Arm are higher than Civil Protection officers, we can see this by the weapons issued to OTAs, while CPs are given your average SMG and pistol, the OTAs have Shotguns and OSIPR(AR2s) added to their arsenals. So no, him shooting the OTA was a way to make him look super evil and edgy, but if it was actually half life 2, this unit would of been met with quite a bit of OTAs, who will not be there to give him a promotion, rather, a permanent demotion. So my point still stands, he would NOT shoot a human synth unless he is stupid.

Well, it's strange that non-synth person is commanding synths, since he is a lower class. Also, people must prove themselves to become a soldier (no-one forces them into transhumans) which was killed like that by an ordinary human.

The thing here is that, the guy who was arrested already proved himself to be more than capable of becoming a transhuman soldier. The CmD needed to get rid of him since he was a mole, and he knew he was already qualified to become a synth; therefore it was sort of a win-win situation. The Transhuman Overwatch gets another soldier, and gets rid of a mole at the same time.
