Ingredients for recipe:
(4 to 6 people)
grated rind of 2 oranges
2/3 cup sugar
6 egg yolks
1/4 cup dark rum or orange juice
1/4 cup sifted cornstarch
6 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
2 tb sugar
3/4 crumbled macaroons
powdered sugar
1/3 cup warmed rum or brandy
créme anglaise:
3 egg yolks
1 1/4 hot milk
2 tsp vanilla
1 tb rum or orange liquer
1 tb softened butter
