Great playing! Can I know which model of Coriani guitar is?
@Volterraproject4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. We are happy to post the reply that we just received from Paolo Coriani: "The guitar is built on the model Manuel Ramirez 1912 (Andres Segovias first professional guitar). It is built with a spruce soundboard, and back and sides in Indian Rosewood. The guitar is not a real copy in the sense that the decorations, the rosette are my creation, but the construction derives from my experience in the last few years working on the restoration of several original Manuel Ramirez guitars and on the study of other guitars present in various collections. Some technical features are: tuning fork 650 mm. nut width 51 mm. with 43 mm string width. , width of the ropes at the bridge 58 mm., weight 1440 gr."

too much sound modification at the recording with additional reverb.. not possible to have an idea on how the guitar sounds
@nicolebachel55556 жыл бұрын
For those of us, who had the privilege to hear it in person, it was rich and clear and full of nuance and depth. Just wonderful!

As a former student of the Volterra Project and having been in the room where this was recorded, there is a serious possibility that there's no added reverb, but rather the sound in the room. Although it's been quite some time since I've been there, so my memory could be incorrect. I do remember that room being very "lively".

Yes another fake over the top guitar added reverb and a little bit of compression as well. Not idea about the real sound of the guitar?

Too much reverb. Why people do this.? How that guitar sounds? God knows
