I’m 72 and Covid almost did me in so I decided to share my rings with my grandsons and my niece to chose one. My grandson’s wife picked one as an engagement ring. I only have one granddaughter and I’ve given her A Lot of jewelry.

Lovely "USER", You are so very wrong. The individual rings are priceless to the Lady's heirs and beautiful. Your taste and judgement is subjective to yourself and should be kept to yourself. Gold is gold and semi precious and precious stones augment any valuation.

Yes and even objectively that person is totally wrong, most of these are high karat gold and precious stones so they’re by no means “low quality”, and also many are estate vintage rings which only appreciate in value. They must be trolling, or they know nothing about jewelry lol 😂

You obviously know nothing about jewelry, you are commenting all these things but it is clear you have no idea what you’re talking about as these rings (even if they may not be to your taste) are all very valuable just in gold weight and precious stones alone. Not to mention vintage pieces like some of these are worth far more than any of the contemporary pieces that you probably prefer.

Beautiful collection! it is such a good idea to hold on to these precious things, they brighten up your life! I started collecting a few years back and so far i have about 10 valuable rings and i also enjoy pretty costume jewelery - my daughters love them too (but they can't have them just yet) I wear them often too, no point in keeping them in a box and out of sight, you seem to really enjoy your jewelery!

I subbed,I love it when a woman (or a man) appreciates jewelry as much as I do! And I love the history and the name of the style,what type of them and where it might be from,etc.. Thank you so much! Yes the natural yellow cushion cut is Edwardian and set in platinum and we stumbled upon it in an old jewelry store. It was being consigned by a family that needed the money. My husband said to me” are you going to wear it or just put it in the bank?” I nearly fainted! I told him “Hell yes!
