Thanks Susan! I love finding/rescuing those old rubber toys... But they are a challenge to clean, preserve and display. The "extra crispy chicken" may need some concrete sealer. Sugar bowl was the oldest find that day! You have a good week too! 😃😎👍🚣🌞

Hi Jeff & Lew, glad you enjoyed the video. Part 2 was still the same day as part 1. So many finds because we waited two years for the water to get low enough at that stretch! Plenty of storms to restock the river with finds! Now, with all the rain, the river is rising again. Good thing we got out there while we could. The milk and the sugar bowl were our fav finds in Part 2. No dairy on the milk bottle, so who did you return it to? 🤔 Move vids to come... Much cleaning to do! Thanks! We waited two years for lower water in some of these spots (due to last year's floods). But the storms restock the river with finds. We have also been cleaning this same river for 20 years! @@massriverpickers The Ramones played a dance at my school in Connecticut a year or so before they hit it big. All I really recall is they were WAY TOO LOUD !! ( I was into Elton John America and the Beatles. I hadn’t crossed over to hard rock or punk rock yet. )

I saw America more than once.. they toured with Three Dog Night in the 80's. I never met any of them though. I didn't get into the Ramones until much later, and after the fact. I tell Drew that I didn't know they were "good" Drew replies "they're not" Lol but he knows that for me, my Ramones are "therapy". Best antidepressant I know! (Other than being in the river) But it has to be mostly their earlier, funny stuff. Yeah, Johnny said he used to turn it (volume) up all the way, and not wear earplugs "because that would be cheating" 😂

Hi Amanda!👋😃 (Better late than never Lol) I was exhausted, and actually slept earlier last night. It is a mostly peaceful section of river at that spot. As you saw, when we got to deeper water, I was in the boat with my feet up. . Taking a rest. 🙂 That is when Drew found the sugar bowl. Not sure what we will use it for... Maybe even put seashells in it?? 🤔 (We did that with a spittoon, and it looks nice!) I do NOT want to think of summer ending yet... Too much to do! Off to the old farm today. Someday I will get those (metal detecting) videos up. Hope you are having some breaks in the rain? One thing a heavy rain is good for... Exposing new old things! (Once the water goes back down) Still many more river trips to share... Boxes of finds, waiting to be cleaned. I probably won't get caught up til winter. Hope all is well. 😁💖

Hi Sara! It's been a rough month for us, but we will be back. I'm editing a "new" vid for this weekend. I was ill last month (tick bite illness), and then life just threw all kinds of stuff at us. @@anthonymessina2834 Hi Anthony, We are ok., Although the past month has been difficult for us. I have recovered from a tick bite illness, and am doing well now. I also had my Dad's estate sell, and had to deal with that (cleanout, etc) despite not being well. We have been out to the rivers, beaches, bottle show... got videos that will be going up as soon as I finish editing. Every week I thought "next week I will get a vid up" then "life" had other plans. My apologies for not posting an announcement, but we had no idea we would be away from YT so long! Hopefully we will get back on track this week or next. PLENTY of vids await editing...
