antique card catalog flat steel key make

In this video we are going to make a key for (what I found out later in the video) a antique card catalog/recipe etc type box. This tiny little fella presented its own challenge the rotating “nose” part was stuck and also the keyway is pretty thin so our chosen blank had to be thinned down a bit

too thick (the blank I ended up having to flatten a bit here was about twice as thin as a 1416 PT prestamped)
