I actually thought you were going to put a wall around the trap so that the mice could climb over easily, yet when the trap sprung, it would land on the walls trapping the mouse. It would not have worked with the rat though.

In 2004ish, in Iraq, I was making deadfall rattraps using the 10lb tin of pound cake we would get for “dessert”. But no trip device, I would hold a string tied to the stick holding up the tin and pull it. There were so many and they were so big. I saw a rat pry itself free from a rat trap it got caught it. So it was kinda surprising the 10lb tin was heavy enough to flatten them.

Yeahhh, no. Unless that would be weighted with a cinderblock or something, that's *no* "instant-kill" trap. The little beastie would likely just be trapped and unable to breathe (if lucky) or still be able to breathe somewhat (if unlucky). Needs to be heavy enough to crack their little melons instantly, not just make a mouse-panini.

People flagging vids is what gets most of them taken down unless its copyright issues. Blame the people watching these at least as much as you blame YT. Then there's how news generally falls under different categories. Same with animals killing other animals. Shawn is big and otherwise tries to be family friendly so I'm not too surprised by his struggles. And it's not as easy as just going to another platform, even the 'unmoderated' platforms either start moderating like everyone else because it's a shitshow or the platform dies.
