You got a steal on that carnival glass. I have collected this glass for 30 years. Your cherry dish with handles and fluted sides would have cost me a couple of hundred back when I was buying. The darker the base and the seemingly matt surface, the older the piece probably over 100 years old. I have a creamer with the same pattern. Newer pieces from the 70's to now seem more glossy and see through with the rainbow colors. Great buy!
