Jessica E my great grandmother handed me a real gold and pearl necklace that I still have to this day, but since the gold chain is very thin, it notted up and I had to get a silver chain since they are cheaper. :/ it's my fav ☺️💚

I have wrote you a few comments about how you are truly my favorite, along with my daughters'. You are great at ASMR and are genuine and not FAKE like many others I just can't get into. That said, I am a nurse and have more than once put you on my phone and put it next to their head and see a noticeable difference in their vitals on the monitor. I think ASMR should be included in non-medicinal pain relief in hospitals. Like on hospital channels. You should be the breakthrough. Just you!!🩺❤

This is a great video. 14K G.F. ( clasp on the second necklace ) means “gold filled” - which is the term for gold plating. So it isn’t solid gold, it has a plating of gold over another metal, to make it look like gold.

I agree, this video reminds me of your other jewelry videos. I love it too! My mother-in law gave me pieces also. Jewlery passed down is the most special of all. I have a necklace from my grandma that my mother gave me, after my grandma died. It's a cameo that my grandpa gave her as a present. I wish my grandma would have been the one to give it to me, but she loved me so much that I know she would have wanted me to have it. I adore it. ♥

Happy Holidays Ilse! I hope you are staying healthy. My Grandma passed away two days ago and I have been going around my house noticing all the little things I have that belonged to her. Jewelry, clothes, dishes, blankets...they mean so much to me. It’s really comforting and touching to see you handle your own Grandma’s items with so much care and love. Things are just things but when they are imbued with memories, they become something more than just items. They take on, as you say, huge emotional value. They remind us of the piece of our loved one’s spirit that remains inside each of us. We have a responsibility to not only treasure these items but celebrate the memories they hold, as you are here. Has anyone else noticed the optical illusion at 20:42-20:55. When she turns the hand pendent around and explains how it is hollow - our eyes can see it as hollow and filled!! Threw me off - super cool :)

After six years of me wanting the necklace at 4:30 I finally found it on Etsy from a girl who bought it at an antique store. According to the seller she said it was from the 1940s and very old (if it is or not it doesn’t matter) I was just so happy to finally have it hahaha mine is also 14k and the same exact one you have. So excited !

I know this video is very old. Your grandfather must’ve been quite wealthy to be able to afford those beautiful necklaces at that time in his life. I would definitely have to is in a safety deposit box. But my dear to wear them on special occasions your grandma would be so proud because I believe they see and hear everything we do. Oh my goodness, we're the same zodiac sign and I also have a Turkish Pisces necklace! My whole family is from Turkey and the necklace was a gift from my grandma who passed in 2010 and was given to me from her by my father. What a coincidence! And a lovely video too :)

The last one was my favorite :) I like decent necklaces! Especially like this one you show at last. My favorit is a simple small necklace from my dad with a aquamarine and a simple pearl necklace from Majorca, which my mother gave me :) Pearls are so beautiful, pure an bright, i love them. And aquamarine are my favorit mineral, the bright soft blue reminds me on a beautiful ocean with blue sky, turquoise water and white sand.

My grandparents gave me a gold zodiac pendant (I'm a Leo :) when I was 5 years old. They went back to Spain for 3 months to see relatives and I remember missing them sooo much! I don't wear a lot of jewellery but this is something I've always been quite attached to even now especially since my grandfather has passed away. :( you have some beautiful jewellery from your dad and grandma.
