People all on "you wasted time. Should get a sand blaster" Ok yeah, we all want a sandblaster, but in whatever amount of time he took, he actually got it done. We're all just here watching. And, as this IS youtube and, youtube's for better or worse all about visuals; whilst just here watching, its a very welcomed change from restoration vids which might as well just be sandblastinf asmr. The polishing gets the job done ,and if y'all really want him to get a sandblaster, like, share, subscribe, send him cash

I think the electrolysis didn't remove the rust because only the base of the part being restored was actually connected the negative terminal. All of the parts would have needed to be interconnected to either that base piece through wires/conductors or directly connected from the metallic bar suspending each part in the electrolyte solution.

Nice restoration video with french fries at the end. 🍟 You could have restored this more effective if u have a sandblaster and nickel plating sollution for screws and nuts.

@@aahands Good. And I will keep watching your videos no matter if they're real or fake. But as a sugestion don't burry older objects in ground and pretend it's 100 years antique. Show them in their actual condition since the beginning of the video (average, rusty, near good condition). Gretings from Romania!

I want to give some recommendations if you're able to do it 1. Suspend for more time for electrolysis. 2. Sand the surface after using REAL RUST KILLER 3. Use some filler or putty to even the surface 4. Then paint it Everything is nice and neat...this channel has a good future...❤

Not a restoration, just a clean and paint. No wear issues or repairs were addressed. I suppose it made it usable in the short term.

You wasted your time..all cast parts should've been wired and you should've used a steel or iron rod as an anode not that piece of pipe..and the pusher block is zinc or aluminum and shouldn't have gone in with everything

A couple of things that don't convince me. The first concerns the "where this objects so ruined" are found "it seems that everyone has the same type of incrustations. Second thing: a blow of high prescription pressure washer would have removed much more. For rust, instead of electrolysis why don't you use citric acid?

I really wanted to enjoy this restoration but there were too many short comings. The electrolysis was done incorrectly and then you spray painted the part without doing anything to correct the pitting. I understand having limited resources, but maybe you should learn to do better with what you do have.

Huge and crudely made, but indeed strong, surely not made for home use, nice job ! A pity you don't know how to make real fries, those you cook look very greasy and soft. Maybe you didn't fry them in two times like we do here in France ?
