Hi Sarah! Does the store you were in have an online presence? Some great items in there! I LOVE the secretary desk! I've always wanted one of those too! It's in great shape and what a beauty! Love the Longaberger basket too! I used to sell those baskets so I have many but some are put away. There craftsmanship is unmatched.

Oh Sarah I’ve been keeping my eyes out for a Secretary for a good price. I’m not sure what you paid, but whatever it is, it was worth it. The condition of that piece, the color of the wood, the glass doors… all perfect! I so wish I had some antique stores that I knew of within a couple hours even that were like yours. We have a few but there very high end. I don’t know if I could find a dish that would be worth what they charge to me. They also have a lot of things in bulk, so they’re getting them somewhere but there aren’t these one off gorgeous finds I feel. They have individual furniture pieces but they’re very pricey. I see some content creators have such unique thrift stores that mark down furniture pieces each week they stay there. I literally have 2 goodwills that are in decent areas and a Salvation Army. And a couple more geared to clothing, dishes, and home stuff but have never found anything I like there. Love you, your channel. You are becoming not just 1 of my favs on KZbin but my #1 girl. So different!

It was definitely an investment piece but very fairly priced for what it is and the condition of it 👏 I've made plenty of trips to antique stores and left with nothing, it's all about being there the right day / time it feels 😅 I have noticed myself things are being priced higher and higher which is a bummer but I'm trying to be very intentional and picky about what it is that I do pick up and splurge when "necessary" 😉 Thank you so much for your ongoing support, it means so much! ❤️

Thank you! We spent $1500 on it, a little more than what I was wanting to spend however everything comparable was 3000+ so it was priced very fairly especially being in such great condition!

Wow ! What a great thrift store. I’m not quite there, yet, as far as thrifting, but my good friend is really into it, and she drags me along once in a while. Lol. She loves buying old furniture, and she’s awesome at refinishing it. But I love brass, risers, etc.I have a few Longaberger baskets that I love. One is a dark brown magazine holder with leather handles. So many of my favorite You Tubers and people I know, are thrifting. It’s getting very popular, but I’ve noticed the thrift stores are getting more expensive. Have you noticed that?
