I think the floral linen piece is called drawn thread work linen. The threads are pulled one at a time and tied off to create the design. Rajiv Surendra has a video talking about it. It's really a beautiful technique. The pull out tray on the dresser can be used for different things. In libraries, they're used to thumb through a book when you're looking for specific information. My husband and I definitely love to go antique shopping. My home is decorated with mostly antique and vintage finds. I love collecting hobnail milk glass and have recently been making love floral arrangements with my milk glass pieces. I love it! I too love brass and have little brass animal statues scattered around. I don't really stick to any one particular decir style, I just throw together what I'm drawn to and it works somehow.

You found some great pieces! I love antique and thrift shopping. I hardly ever buy from big box stores or boutiques anymore. Their merchandise just seems so common now and kinda cheesy in that they sell items that are designed to look old, but aren't.

About drop leaf table you decided not to get...as a kid in the 60s, I ate at one at my grandparent's house. It was their kitchen table. About 1975 my dad gave it to me when I moved out of town. I still have it and will, I guess, forever. Eventually I think I will use it in the kitchen as I downsize. Enjoy your videos!

I saw a beautiful art desk last weekend when we were out antiquing. It was huge and absolutely gorgeous! If I had a studio, it would have come home with me. Sadly, my 1000 sq foot home does not provide room for a studio. I am shocked that you left the little table and the art desk behind but your husband is right. There will be other great finds when you have the space.

The drop leaf table was beautiful but if you don't have the room then wait until you buy your home. Otherwise Girl your apt will look like the pack booth. Tempting as it was, Zach made a good call.
