Oh, Tanya, what a store!!! The furniture is to die for. Each piece was incredibly beautiful! How I wish I had a large Victorian and unlimited (ha) funds to decorate it all in antiques. I've always said I was born in the wrong century, but then I am reminded of air conditioning, and corsets, indoor pluming, medicine, etc. and I realize I am fine where I am...LOL! All all your wonderful videos this is certainly my favorite! I hope you continue to heal quickly and are back 100% soon.

Wow, makes your heart swell up! So much beauty in the world. I have a waterfall bookcase that my friends and I found in Bowling Green, Oh. The front glass had been broken and it had been left out in the weather and was just a mess. But,, I fell in love with it and my friend's husband did furniture restoration in his garage and they took it home with them and he fixed it up. It is just beautiful and I still have it to enjoy every day. So very glad to have this beauty in my world.

All thought and reason goes out of all my thrifting. Thought and reason are not a requirement, there is only I want that. That Eastlake dresser with the white marble top was to die for. The carving was so different and exquisite plus the little candle stands on the sides of the mirror oh my. I want to move in that shop, I could dust and clean and be very happy.

The bed with the “damage”, it appears the veneer has loosened. Take a very thin blade, cut the bowed areas, take a syringe or something similar and put wood glue into the cuts. The lay the bed flat and put weight on it until the glue dries! Voila, good as new! By the way, use unmatched bedside tables. It adds much more interest to the room.

I have that cabinet @ 1:16. It's the first time I have seen another one. We bought it almost 55 years ago in West Palm Beach. We paid $35.00 in perfect cond. I've handed it down to my great granddaughter. She is expecting my first gg grand in October. All that ⬅️, and I'm not that old. 😇. Love watching you shop.

I've subscribed to many thrifting/antiques channels but this is the first video of yours I have seen. I am so glad I finally did. I love listening to the others but I do not have their specific tastes. I have my own taste but I really love it all! You oooed and aaaawed at all the right places and showed so many beautiful things that the others tend to slip past. I felt like I was listening to my inner voice talk to me about all the fabulously gorgeous pieces of furniture and could hear that twinkle that I feel when imagining actually owning some grand and beautiful piece of art that I could laze on. I lived in Upstate New York in the 90's. A place called Saratoga Spings. Lots & Lots of beautiful Victorian homes there. We did get a ton of snow and I do recall seeing a lot of those hall trees like the one in this video.

Enjoyable video, thanks. Interesting to see how many pieces were marked down so dramatically. Suggest you proceed with caution at this location. Stock liberally salted with repros. Concerning the bed repair: most of the furniture has been re-finished. This indicates the owner has resources to restore pieces. You best bet is to ask him to repair the piece. If he refuses, suggest you leave it alone. Hope your ribs recover soon. Verrrrrrry painful. Cheers & best wishes.
