Day 19 of a Vintage Vlogmas '21 were checking out a place I've never been, The Williamsburg Antique Mall. I didn't even get to finish walking the whole place! An antique & vintage shopping trip that was packed full of treasures. Antique shopping Williamsburg, Virginia is a must! PS. Sorry this came out so late. These shopping trips take a long time edit.

The stool is from a shoe store or a department store that had a shoe department. The sales person would rest your foot on the stool when putting on the shoe or rest your foot on the back (moveable) handle while tieing up your shoe.

The stool might be for a child. I’ve found a wooden one that does the same thing & everyone yelled at me for calling it a foot stool when it is in fact a child’s chair/stool.😅

Aw, thanks for the mini tour of old Williamsburg. My dad took us there when I was a kid, so it was nice to see it again. We definitely need a part 2 of the antique mall! Those cork lamps can bring pretty good money when they're cleaned up.

Great mall, worthy of a second video. It's been 20 years since we've been thru Williamsburg. My dad moved to Kansas from Fairfax in 1977. When we went back for a visit, he was amazed what the once empty fields have become now!

I moved to Williamsburg in October 2021 and have not yet visited the Williamsburg Antique Mall. There are so many antique shops here. I have visited about 4 or 5 so far. There is a set of two shops called Lazy Daisy. There are actually two sops next to each other snd the winding Victorian stair case in one of them is to die for! They specialize in restored antique furniture and all kinds of mercantile but they also sell modern pieces to include clothing and jewelry. Very classy.

I live 10 minutes from that place. Seeing so much stuff crammed and cluttered into one space sets off my anxiety. Cool video I hope they catch the people who broke into your car. I used to live In Norfolk and had my car broken into 5 or 6 times that is the worst feeling when you realize someone has been in your space uninvited. Nice video.

Love this antique store! Just and FYI for your next trip- there are at least 3 more amazing large antique stores less than 1.5 miles around the corner from this antique mall (I frequent them as often as I can), including one right in that shopping center in front of the mall. They have the BEST large antique furniture pieces and I always covet everything they have. :) I really enjoy your videos! ! It took me forever to realize you're semi-local! I'll have to plan a trip to your antique mall soon!! (Also VA Beach has another huge antique mall on your next trip) Happy antique shopping and selling!

I think the stool is an early version of multi use furniture. A footstool OR a child’s seat if needed.

My family is scattered throughout Frederick County, MD - as well as Northern VA and WV - and we have so many wonderful places to shop Antique and Vintage. Love it all!! Love a Sunday Drive to the Factory Antique Mall, as well, and enjoy shopping your booth. How you envision your space (and bring it into life) is beautifully displayed. It is gripping... and draws people in. You are very talented! FYI - so glad that you decided to pick up those two brass deer here in Williamsburg. I bought them to match three others that I recently got found at Chartreuse and co. Couldn't resist. Thanks!!

You have a very specific aesthetic. Such a great eye! The creepy baby chocolate mold is a Kewpie doll that was popular in the early 1900s. My grandmother had a ceramic figurine of a kewpie doll that I loved as a child.

We have problems in my neighborhood as well with kids getting into our cars and taking things. I keep my doors locked so they don't bother with my car. They open the door, look around, take small things then leave the car door open and go on to the next car. It's happened in my neighborhood about 3 or 4 times as well. Annoying!

Why didn't several car alarms go off? You'd think the neighborhood would have been singing with them. Great Antique Mall! It's so good to see people in stores and outside WITHOUT MASKS! Here in the San Fernando Valley (LA) everyone wears masks. Even when by themselves on a bike or in a car or walking down the street.
