Thanks a lot for shearing your experience about show in Belgium! It is cool to see, especially if you can't attend yourself. It is also nice to get an idea of the prices for the stuff in Europe. Very much appreciated!

My dad had loads of that stuff and that first aid bag I remember he used for his fishing when out on the boats in the North Sea! Never forget that pouch don't know what happened to that if still in a box in the lock up woth the rest of all the stuff he collected i played with in the 90s as a kid! I see alot of stuff now I'm interested in ww1 ww2 and recognise alot of it from playing with it or using it like tools etc just in the late 90s early 2000s for my bike's lol

We had boots like that in the USA . Dose not have the spikes or studs on the bottom . We call them engineer boots . The used them for the locamotives or steam trains . Before that the boots were used in the civil war

The newspaper page taken out of the cap seems to be from Rastatt. In this town is the intresting museum ,Wehrgeschichtliches Museum'/ Museum of military history, which shows intresting items of german military history from 15th century to wwl.

Still never seen the SS Dagger my dad left me when he passed on anything! It's a brown scabath stamped SS and a swastika the blade is like the one at the start with a thick spine and a strength stamped into the spine the handle is wrapped in brown leather also stamped with swastika and end cap is silver or steels that unscrews with a 2 pronged key but don't have the key it looks like it could be a hidden compartment in the handle maybe has the cyanide pills still in there haha never had the thing opened! Sat in the drawer for donkies years now
