Nice job on the sale! It's nice to have success after all that work! So sorry you weren't feeling well. It was a heck of a shiner. I worry, as it's my best habit, that you dont drink enough water when you are running all the time. So sad the baskets didn't sell. I love them and really appreciate the skill and craftsmanship that is required to make them. One of my first whatnot purchases was a couple of African grass baskets. The woman buys out estate sale leftovers. The couple were missionaries and they took their goodies to other churches and places to speak for fundraising to go again. So the pieces I bought, with no one bidding against me, like $3. They have handwritten notes with the story on them. I still use everyday some of the longaberger baskets I bought years ago. I suppose most people look at baskets as everyday items rather than treasures.

I agree with you, I am anhydrous to begin with so I do need more water. I love the baskets too, these just have been seen here in that exact spot and need to go elsewhere...and will. It sounds like you got a nice collection and interesting pieces!

Good to hear that your sale was great and you know how to fall! :) I tripped over Flash last year and ended up in the ER and got 7 stitches between my forehead and nose so I feel ya! Interesting about the wooden clocks. I have a lovely one with a nice ceramic face that Ive been toting around for years. I think it's time to let it go!

George, I broke my arm in a mad dash to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I don’t remember if I put both feet on the floor at the same time but I ran into the sink and fell down. For two days I tried to convince myself the arm was just a sprain, but the doc proved me wrong plus I damaged a couple ribs. The funny part of this is that although I fell to the bathroom floor, I didn’t wet my pants!

I had a reaction to my flu/covid shot recently and felt as you described. I was wobbling around the house and was very unstable, so I can relate to your story. It can happen so easily. The "Why You Should Never Drink Water" booklet needs to go to a bartender.(LOL) I wouldn't know what to do with it myself. I had Covid not long ago, but no fever at all. Haven't had one since my last booster shot in fact. OTOH the MS has had me hitting the floor once or twice (numb, stiff and unseen trip hazards in the dark and...bingo. No broken bones or blood, but I did end up with some spectacular bruises. Glad George's healed up faster than mine ever did.

Oh George, my heart is breaking as I lay my eyes on the sheer devastation and destrution caused from the rifling and pilighing of others through your "Sweet Kentucky Home"! As a fellow Kentuckian, my only wish was, to be there on your door step grabbing everything I could lay my dainty lil' hands upon, alas that you must be in " West by God Kentucky ". So very happy for you boys selling so much!!!! It does tear at my heart as I'm a collector not a seller. How do you bear it, I wonder. So I'm guessing it's back to Florida the long way....ah to be young again! So very sorry to hear you've been ill and to have a fall on top of that....please do be careful.
