The first large pitcher that you picked up was from around 1882 - you can tell from the transfer pattern on it, it was part of the Aesthetic Movement and period.

Nice journey , so much to choose from 😱The blue plate is a lovely match for the pink one you already have. I think the last Shelley pattern is called ‘Rosebud’ 🤗

Hello 👋🇨🇦 Yes, those cup&saucers are so beautiful and they make me smile every time when I look at them.☺️ I guess you feel the same. . .it’s wonderful to know you, too are collecting vintage teacups☺️ I just love going to the antique markets to find beautiful pieces. . . I love the atmosphere and displays as well as looking at porcelains and finding something I like&collect. For now, I’m just enjoying collecting them but maybe I might sell some in future. . . 🤔 Thank you so much for asking and sharing your comment. Hello Ms. Asri👋 good to hear from you☺️ I think the most of antique &vintage teacups are made of “bone china”, “a type of ceramic that is composed of bone ash, feldspathic material, and kaolin”. It was used especially in England. It says,”Bone china is the strongest of the porcelain or china ceramics, having very high mechanical and physical strength and chip resistance, and is known for its high levels of whiteness and translucency.” But these vintage Shelley cups are thinner and looks more delicate compared to the Royal Albert’s ones.
