Mel what a fantastic haul. You found so many amazing things. I love the Praying Man , Grace print, the high chair and wonderful Teddy bear. Your egg crate is great, love the handle. So happy you found one. I love mine too. The old shoes are such a good find. We used to love going to Pennsylvania to antique. It was always a favorite place to go. I love the dough bowl! What a steal for the crock! You really scored on the crocks! Thankfully I can still tolerate cinnamon but I can relate to how things change as we age. I love the candle!!! Im going to be making candles for Fall and Christmas, I’m so excited for that project! Your small candles are super cute!! Congrats on your first prairie dress. You need a dress form now! I’ve been wanting that print for years!!! Im so jealous! I can’t believe you got it for $2!!!! It’s going to look amazing in your home! I love your teddy and he’s in great shape! I have small teddy’s Art even has one from his childhood and it’s too fragile to move so it’s packed away. I’ve been trying to convince him to let me work my magic and get him in a display box so we can have him out but he’s not convinced yet😂 love the egg crate! Oh my the shoes!!! Wow what a haul! I have that exact egg crate minus the closures It's in my kitchen with my primitive tree on it year round. Love it. So glad you found your Teddy. Has to go in high chair. Mel, I love all your treasures! I really need to make a trip back home in Pennsylvania. I miss all the wonderful country/primitive shops there. Your high chair & teddy bear are amazing. I recently started collecting teddy bears again and am on the lookout for a jointed bear. He will look fabulous in his new high chair. The antique shoes you found are so unique. I had so much fun visiting all the places with you. Thanks for sharing your trip. By the way, Jean E is a true inspiration and is filled with so much knowledge of vintage. I love watching both of you.

I LOVE your teddy! People have to have a passion for things like that to understand how "WE" (you & I) feel about them! My granddaughter is freaked out by my "Old Dolls" also (she said they are scary/creepy)! LOL! I do not care.......I LOVE them anyway! Hi Sherry🙋‍♀️you are a kindred spirit! My daughter tells me I’m making our house look haunted with all my old stuff. I just let her talk. I do wish she would have a little interest in the old but everything she buys has to be brand new and name brand, neither of those have any importance to me. She’s young maybe someday she’ll feel differently but I’m not gonna hold my breath 😁🤣😆

Love the high chair! Finding room is always an issue isn't it! But it's a good problem to have!! I rotate things around each season which seems to help. Thanks for sharing!

I love anything primitive, and anything wood! You got some really nice pieces. I actually like the little candle nubs, they would be sweet in a little chamber candle holder! They would be cute if you had A bunch to out in the bowl or even a old jar. I libra the larger candle too, looks so good in the long black holder! The pitberry ring would be cute with it! Oohh goodness.. the dress & bonnet are precious, and the mini one too❤ When i was a very young child, our church would have old fashion Sunday once a year. Everyone dressed in old fashion clothing, my mom & I had the long dress with a bonnet but it was a burgundy with a tiny gold colored flower! Some people even came in a horse & buggy! I would give anything to still own rose🥹 The photo of the man praying Is called 'Grace'.. I've been looking for one to add to my collection. The older lady photo is called 'Gratitude'. I'd love to have them both!! You got A great price on it! The high chair is sweet! I hope when we move my kitchen is big enough to have one! If you Google Lens it you can probably find out the age! I google lens everything.. quick way to find the age & value of anything! They one is amazing, I'd bet its antique, 100+yrs old! I love the teddy!! I have a smaller antique teddy, about 15"! She's A rusty brown color. She's dressed in a long dress, apron, petticoat, little jacket, and the clothing is hand stitched, has a little patch on her apron and the little jacket has tiny safety pins instead of buttons. She's so old her fur isn't as soft as it probably once was, but she's special! It actually has A name, the kind of teddy she is but i cant remember🤷‍♀️ He will be so precious in the high chair! Even holding A flag if you decorate for July 4th! I'd love a bonnet for my peg rack.. you look so cute😄 You can tea stain the little bags to make them look older! Is the little coat a velvet type material? My grandma made me A little red one very similar when i was probably 3 or so, it was a velvet material, mommy mom kept it for many years, i wish i knew what happened to it!🫤 ahhhh the boots are amazing!!!😮 I want a pair! I love to start collecting antique baby shoes! I have a pair of brass or bronze ones, but i want them regular. I'm same..i always wonder about my pieces, who owned it, the home it was in, all the things! I love your haul, it was amazing!❤ Thank you so much grin sharing!😊

The brown calico dress and bonnet are just gorgeous.....I would love to have a brown one, but I did get my hands on 2 blue ones in school girl size. Sometimes, you do have to go ahead and treat yourself to a little splurge if you want some of the good things.....actually with the bonnet, I think it was a good price. Love to go antiquing in PA. $60 for the Bear was a steal

I know that if I see something I love or that I’ve been hoping to find if I pass on it then it might be a long time if ever, that I see one again. Glad you were able to find two blue ones. Maybe someday I’ll find the time to try and make one❤

@ if you do go Strasburg ,new holland, blue ball , intercourse and so many other surrounding areas. If you can visit go see “sight and sound.” I live on the southern end lots of Amish and just beautiful country Take the scenic routes Lancaster city is just another city has lots but not quaint 😊. You love a lot of things I do also my home is vintage primitive

Hi Melanie , I don't know if you ever went outside of reading pa, but there is a place in Douglasville called Merritt's it's a clock repair shop and an antique center. Let me tell you when I was there the last time they had the floor set up for the decades. And they would put things together like boxes of old skates and boxes of all different kinds of things. It was the most fun place to shop. I really want to go there again because that's where my dad and my stepmom lived and I used to go there a lot before they passed.
