I always look forward to shopping with you. I think I drooled a little in the antique shops lol. Like museums, I could spend hours in them looking from one item to the next. I always chuckle a little when you tour us around your lovely home. I see so so many similar pieces to mine. Example, the cameras. I have same brownie (plus a smaller one), same expandable type and I too recently curated the same box camera ($2). Timeless pieces aren't they. I applaud how your mind works. Bravo to your talent!

I always thought I was a bit of an oddball as I didn't collect things like other kids did. Certain pieces spoke to me and I never could figure out why. They weren't trendy or popular like other kids had. But I treasured them to the point I still have some of them and I am an old woman. I know now these pieces tell timeless stories of the earth, of adventures, of wisdom, of love and loss, of mystery. So yes, it is such as joy to know the world is full of kindred spirits. It makes this one ride we get worth it.

That curiosity shop was amazing! Well, except for the taxidermy. That makes me feel sick. There were some really cool things there, though. Your cherub lamp turned out great! I wasn't sure, but when you showed the finished product, I was pleasantly surprised. Very creative!

Love the lamp! You have a great imagination! When you mentioned eventually adding lights recently I saw a video someone used battery operated light bulbs not sure what styles they come in but maybe they could work for you. I think they came with a remote and she got them on Amazon . you have very beautiful displays

@0:23 I was startled a little bit......that looks like an actual little ⚰️ 💀 taxidermy is a bit spooky and people do have to be careful of a room looking like something Norman Bates would love. I loved the mirrors and flower pictures. Those little cherub sconces are so cute and very French and Victorian looking. The toilet roll handle is so unique. Cute little mirror you bought! You’re so lucky to find such great items! The. The cherub lamp came out really good. Another great job! It’s too bad you couldn’t also have the inspiration cherub holding the flowers. I love cherubs and flowers. That curio cabinet is looking more and more cute as you collect. Perfume bottle with a ♥ top. Paper hearts and plates. 💕 Great idea for a valentines theme, you know I love seeing hearts ♥ 🥰. A lot of the items you have in your curio are items I’d love to have on my vanity. You found a ⏰ with a pink face! So cute and rare! Looking forward to the library! ❣️

Hi just wanted to stop by and say loved the antique shop! What about using the toilet roll holder that is to small as a hand towel holder near the sink in your new decorated bathroom? I'm English/American live in the UK lived in USA for a while as a child and teenager. I love victorian and the dark academia style. I love collecting old books. Found one in a charity shop. I paid a £1 it was a gift, inside they wrote in was present on March 1st 1916.
