I believe you should be putting ship strikes face up at the bottom of the ship strikes deck, to know when to reshuffle.

I'm only at 42:20 so I don't know if you correct yourself, but that's not how healing works. Each credit spent will heal that many points on EACH character. So by spending 4 credits on healing, you can heal 4 on Zoe, 4 on Jayne, and 4 on the unused main characters. I frankly would have spent just one point to heal Kaylee and leave Zoe on her 6 damage (you have Simon in the crew decks so you have plenty of healing with his cards) and the remaining 3 credits on upgrades. Conversely, you could have spent 3 credits to heal both Kaylee and remove one of Zoe's 3-point strikes and hope you get a 1-point upgrade to choose from.

49:30 - wait, she'd already played that Flaw, so it was no longer either in her hand or her discard. It was defeated. She shouldn't have got that extra crew strike.

at 17:50 you used a talent card to draw a card then you used it as a talent and discarded it. Can you use all cards multiple times like this?

I was wondering about this too, but he did it correctly. The ability of the Talent card is draw a card immediately. "Then at some point during your Action Phase you may activate the Talent in order to get the special ability." Rules page 9 Talents and Flaws. Then you get rid of it back to the Talent deck (i.e. defeated.)

for one thing she forgot to draw her card after playing the coordinate card. you played a talent which if you discarded it would have given you plus three strikes which I'm guessing is what would give you 8 strikes. man so close. My wife and I definitely want this game and watching you guys play it makes me really want it more.

Each game you play is made up of three episodes in the A, B, C format. Every episode is marked either a b or c.

yeah! Good work, pals! But I have a doubt... Why do you still moving cards through the 'verse unless there are no cards in the episode deck? In the Rulebook: Remember: Only push a card forward if needs to move to make room for another card entering that space. Thanks so much!

About that i have a question. I'm actually playing Legendary Encounters Alien and while I was on the second movie, my third obj was to kill the Queen. Well the Queen was the last card and she was in the complex. In that case she will never get to Combat Zone and so she will never do dmg to me. Am I correct? If so...it will be an automatic win for me...not so funny :(

At the end of each episode there is a brown backed card as the “inevitable “ it acts like a timer pushing all cards through the ‘verse and into the combat zone.

I've been watching different playthroughs to see if we misinterpreted some rules. This game has been extremely hard to "win" so far. One thing I noticed is that in the rules you are suppose to start the third phase with 3 face down episode cards in the verse. Likewise with the second phase, you should have something in the verse before the first turn.

Great theme, good mechanics (though brutal...). I bought the game on a whim, and I have to say the artwork is absolutely 100% terrible. I failed my drawing class in college, and I'm almost positive I could've done better, it's that bad. But it's Firefly, and I love Firefly, which is probably why I'm so disappointed...

I would definitely sleeve those cards (Mayday standard premiums work quite fine)... they're upper-deck + you spend half the game shuffling them. Just saying ^_^

At 47:33 after you played the Monty to co-ordinate recruitment, you drew the Simon healing card. She'd already said she had 6 combat in her hand and had spent 3. So why did you not then co-ordinate that Simon card with her so she could scan the 4 and heal one of her 3-point strikes at the same time? That was definitely a missed opportunity.

Heather Ackroyd You probably already figured out but "You can only coordinate one card to each player on their turn" (page 18). that's why he couldn't play it.

You aren't supposed to discard your hand or cards played until after strikes. That first ship strike you took would not have counted cards you just played.

Per rulebook: Ending an Episode Once you’ve completed or failed each Objective in the Episode, the Episode immediately ends.

Looks like there is from watching this. I love the show so much. I will probably ended up caving and getting it. It looks a bit more interesting then Aliens as well. I like how this plays a bit more than Aliens and of course I love the theme. Also wanted to say that Frances makes a great addition to the channel. :D
