Chantal is a Barbie Doll. She looks exactly the same or even better! I realize a lot of people are still upset because Saleisha won and I would say they' re right! Chantal for me should've won Cycle 9. That cycle was a 💣 bomb. She is so beautiful, smart, fresh and fierce. She was born to be a model no doubt.

I think Cycle 9 overall had THE strongest contestants. I can't think of a cycle where the overall best person actually won (except maybe Yoanna?), but I do think that Saleisha had more winning qualities than people want to give her credit for.

I certainly don't feel like Chantal is a mean girl for what happened at elimination but I will never forget how sad Jenah was and how much I felt for her when she felt ganged up on. I mean hearing from your friends in national television that they wouldn't want their sisters looking at you as a role model....OUCH!!! Especially since she really wasn't a negative person at all. Yes. It was 14yrs ago though and she's probably grown since then. She does sound like with that opinion, she must be privledged and just doesn't have a broader perspective. I do understand _where_ she's coming from and I get how she was more focused on the other girl and feeling like she was better for it because she was looking from a personal perspective with her little sister (plus the whole smoking thing) and she did say it was how she felt _at that time_ so idk. Chantal seems a very nice and interesting person, so I don't intend this comment as a way to criticise her personally. It would be very enriching to use this platform to deepening into the autistic spectrum. When contestants talk about Heather, sometimes it feels as if there is still room for more information about it. Would have been nice if ANTM's production intended to sensibilize the contestant about it, buf, ofc, it would have "avoided" some of the drama of the season.

The ethical thing probably would be to give some background about autism for the contestants if production even had that information themselves. With that psych exam they have to pass for top model, I wonder what’s on it. If neurodivergence is part of it. I think it would be hard to put somebody with that condition through this sort of process and the others around her because when you’re out on your own… people usually share that and that informs the choices they make about their living situations😊

Saleshia winning still bothers her because of the unknown alleged circumstances around it. Chantal talked in circles around the topic too much, which tells me she has reservations on what the producers planned behind the scenes. Personally, I liked Saleshia as well as all the models on Cycle 9. When it came down to her and Chantal, Saleshia was the better runway model and improved the most on her photos. I think a lot of times when I read the comments, there's an element of subconscious racism as Saleshia bested two blue eyed blonde hair white women to win the title. Mixed that with the "scandal" and you get a barrage of vicious hate, especially from viewers in Latin and Asian countries.
