It's outstanding that they haven't been slapped with a lawsuit over abusing women, putting them through that level of cold weather, and honestly, a huge level of disrespect. Plus, when this show aired (i think it was around 2010), this awareness of one's worth, treating a person as an individual, a living being worthy of care and respect wasnt still what it is today. At that time , completely subjugating yourself to the demands of the industry was regarded as "being professional" and "ready to do whatever it takes" which is problematic in itself to say the least. These outrageous challanges were even worse in american version od the show

If you are a model you have to learn how to work in different weather conditions and if they really didn't want to do the photo shoot they didn't have to. Animals are forced, they weren't. At least they didn't have to stay out there for too long. I agree that it was a stupid challenge, but at least it was an experience they'll remember.

growing up in the cold, our measure for bare skin at -70 windchill, was about 30 seconds before frostbite starts setting in... people can tolerate differently ,,, but people without fat coming from a lukewarm vehicle??? Someone should have made them do jumpingjacks or something to get their blood flowing before putting them straight into the wind.. one of the first things that our body does in response to freezing is to stop blood flow to the extremities.. to conserve heat at the body,, so exercise beforehand would help..

The judges were TERRIBLE this week. A) If Tiffany had accepted the blankets she would have been told she wasn’t trying, but she didn’t so she was seen as rushing ? B) Charlotte is BEAUTIFUL. How the judges thought that was okay is INFURIATING. And C) Tiffany’s face looked INCREDIBLE in that picture, and it just wasn’t picked up on. Elle and Charlie aren’t too bad, it’s Julien and Grace that are shocking. As Kirsty rightly said “They don’t see me as I am…”

I'm glad any of them didn't lose their toes or fingers to that cold. They didn't, right? Judges were harsh. Only Charlie had some sympathy, but in general they acted like the shoot was done in a studio. Al frozen so much she couldn't control her face expression. Kirsty had an interesting photo. Julien was out of line. Maybe if he was more polite he wouldn't go bankrupt. Although, it might be just to not pay the suppliers, he might be very fine economically himself. So another shame on Julien.
