I have three Infinity Stylus models, all with the f/3.5 lens. The oldest was $5 at a thrift store five or six years ago and has a small chip in the battery compartment door. The second is gold colored with a date back and I paid US $0.25 new in the box at a yard sale inmg neighborhood. The third is another black one I was given in return for carrying a nice lady's box of "stuff" out to her car after an auction. All three work perfectly and none have ever missed focus. Although I prefer the optics of my Konica Big Mini, it's hard to beat the Stylus for convenience and usability!

Perfect for caturing memories! I've had a couple of the zoom models, the Olympus mju II zoom 170 and I currently have the Olympus mju zoom 105. Good thing is they're less desirable and therefore cheaper than the none zoom models. I.picked up mine very cheap. Both have been very good and having that zoom option gives you a bit more flexibility and photographic creativity. I wouldn't discount the zoom models, they were actually far more expensive than their none zoom alternative models when new. I guess over time, potential owners are concerned there is more to go wrong, more moving parts, gears, motors etc potential light leaks around the lens barrels but they tend to be very robust, well made and reliable in my experience. Mine are still working fine.

In Russia the Olympus MJU III 150 was sold for $180 (USD) in 2005. The price of the electronic supermarket "M-Video". Info taken from a cashier's receipt.

The model with fixed lens was the smallest. The biggest point about this camera is it's size. It was perhaps the smallest film camera on the market and people liked the fact that you would put it in your pocket and not feeling it was there. However the small size meant the camera was difficult to hold in hand and the plastic was slippery. Not pleasant to shoot with it, did not had a feeling to it. Average landscape photos, not very sharp from the tiny lens, but with plenty of light it had good colors at close range - under 5 meters. The camera would need ideal light conditions to give good photos.

Really interesting review. Those mju II / stylus epic’s are ridiculously expensive here in the UK. Shocking the auto focus misfires. I was really wanted one a couple of years ago, when I discovered Troy HOlden’s street photos in San Francisco. Oh compliments on the table cover ;) 👍

Great video! One note, I have several Olympus Mju, from different models, and have never experienced such autofocus problems, probably you have one or two faulty cameras.

The Canon prima mini date is also very nice. It is a very small camera and also the lens is very nice. It also puts the date on the photo.

I'm obsessed with my Olympus stylus camera and I've had it for a year and now the lense doesn't pop out and says its empty when there is film inside and the lense just doesn't want to come out everything else works, can anyone help I want to try and see if I can fix it myself before spending lots of money on my camera

I have a black one labeled as the Infinity stylus zoom 115, seems like a cross of your first and last of your featured models. im stoked to have it cause im trying to get away from smart phones. it comes with a neck/wrist strap that clips anto a black pouch with a brown leather embossed olympus logo. I also have a infinity super zoom 300. havent used either so I dont know whick will capture better shots. Does bigger mean better? The latter certainly has a bigger build and bigger lens.

i find that my stylus 150 is impossible to take selfies with, no matter how hard i press down on the shutter when i try to take a selfie it only does a half shutter.. have you encountered anything like this?

Does the Stylus understand the ISO50 film? Or the Stylus will consider it ISO100 film? The manual says: "Automatic settings with DX-coded film. Other intermedia film speeds will be automatically set for the next lower speed. Non-DX-coded is set at ISO100".

I'm not actually sure. The lowest speed film I've shot was 100 with the Olympus stylus cameras.

Circa passed away yesterday morning. She was with me for over 14 years. I cherish every moment and I thankfully have too many pictures of her. Sara and I are heartbroken.

I lost both my cats both buried together miss them everyday everyday at there grave site. How u been? Corona bad in Australia where I am nsw is blocked of from the rest of Australia means u cannot leave or u will get a $50 thousand dollar fine on the spot to quarantine for 2 weeks in house or hotel 😔 and more than 1 million people here are out of a job due to the corona. how u cooping with it? This week my miss smirf my tabby cat 2 year anniversary since she passed away my KZbin picture the black cat is her best friend both buried together that's him in my photo. Hope your well.

My tingles passed away on the 27th the same week as Christmas and my smirf passed away on the 28th of this month. Your cat is in heaven with my cats and other cats. Your in my prayers. I was wondering if the lens and flash should pop out automatically on the zoom 115 when turned on even if there is no film? I recently thrifted one but have no film in at the moment so was just curious if it depends on the film being there as they are not automatically coming out.

I think it will pop out as long as there is a battery, even if there is no film in.

My infinity zoom 80 has a lens problem when i pop it, the shutter won’t flick and i think something’s blocking it. But the flash works fine tho. Any advice?

Sorry, these cameras are getting older and the electronics are going to go bad at some point. Its probably easier to just get anther Olympus

I scan the negatives with a flatbed scanner, then you can put that digital file on your phone

Hi! What recommendations would you have for someone moving up from point and shoot and looking to shoot more professionally in terms of film cameras?

I’d say take a look at the Canon AE-1 or A-1 with a 50mm f1.8 lens. Can be found online for under $150 together and will give you lots of options/room to grow with film photography.
