Only when one travels to our fellow West African nations then one will realize that Sierra Leone is a advice village. We really need to gather ourselves and develop our country, let forget about politics and think about development.

Hi Antionette, I read your article on the University life in Sierra Leone and about the problems especially young women are going through. I believe that the situation is not getting any better, wosre scenario, lecturers are failing students and asking to sleep with them or the students will not be passed to go to the next year. This is really applauding and the lecturers on occasions where students can sleep with them, they have to pay millions so that they don't repeat their year. Why is this allowed to go on, this should be taken to the educational authorities . Never heard of this in the UK or in the States. Someone has to whistle-blow this to the authorities and the media. These lecturers are vultures and should have shamed. No wonder life is so difficult in the country, poor students. Where can they get the money from. Disgraceful.

First of, thank you for a great Vlog...Wow, GH looks so lovely, what are the main differences/similarities between GH and SL? What can we improve upon as SL?
@antoinettegeorge72672 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. Aaah a lot of differences ooo lol- they farm more so there’s more foodstuff (fresh tomatoes, yam, cassava, meat, fish etc) Infrastructure- they’ve got a more developed city, (airport, roads, business places, offices etc) they are very conscious about their hygiene, they package their street foods neatly so you can’t see bread, cakes etc open on the streets and all. I can go on and on🤣🤣🤣

You are probably saying the right thing but I don’t think you have criticize your country. This might not help your Chanel. Every country is beautiful and unique in it own way. What would you say about Sierra Leone if you go to places like Ivory Coast or Rwanda?
@antoinettegeorge72672 жыл бұрын
Happy you said “you are probably saying the right thing”. I merely stated the fact and it’s not wrong to do so, I can’t deny the fact just because SL is my country-that’ll be misleading. I love Salone and will choose my country above any other, but it’s still not enough to shy away from the truth. Knowing our problem is part of solving our problem. Like you said, every country is unique- Sierra Leone is known for Religious tolerance(which is not easy to see in other countries), lovely people, beautiful beaches etc, I have talked about/showcased all of those with pride on this channel. So as am saying the good things, I should also be honest enough to state the ugly- that is a balanced view.
