How do you recognize a great piece of music? It still sounds marvellous in 8bit. This format reduces music to the bare minimum of composition, the very essence of musical craftsmanship. No stupid gah-gahing or ooh-oohing. No failing turbine engines, car crashes or other abominations being sold as music. Whether it is a classical or modern piece. Dvorak or Dschingis Khan. If it sounds great in 8bit, it is a great composition.

Genius, its just that kind of piece .....was completely immersed throughout , in 8 bit you can really strip the piece down to its most basic, fundamental, structure.... and just admire this amazing musical tapestry...Heavenly

Concerning the fact that this music has been chosen to bring to the moon for the "future" populations, as a representant of Earth music.. so.. Why the hell not..?? - maybe this is how they manage to listen to that one day anyway, with their alien "hearing sound system".. (besides, Super Mario re-creators have a good source of good music for another 150 chapters.. :) )
