Holy crap I can't believe you pulled this off so well- not even too much gain on it. I love you're staccato muting too- the dynamics are just perfect. This sounds so true to the violin version- I just didn't believe it would be possible with the leaps and no bow to pull this difficult of a piece off this well on guitar. I mean Eliot Fisk does a great job and is very impressive on classical with all 24 caprices- but this is at a different level and I prefer it greatly.
@stevesheroan41317 ай бұрын
While this is a more “fun” rendition for myself as well, saying it is “on a different level” to Eliot Fisk is just crazy IMO. I’ve been a professional electric guitarist for a while (20+ years) and I studied classical guitar in college. It’s a different skillset, but I could at least dream of covering this rendition, where Fisk’s version is something I still can’t believe is possible, even for him.

Incredible playing, I am still processing what I just saw. Your picking is effortless and elegant. Your control of the tempo and dynamics really adds to the playing - there are lots of fast players, but it often feels robotic. Wow, I can’t say enough good things about this. And the tone is clean enough to really keep the playing sharply in focus, nothing hiding, no tricks, just razor sharp playing from start to finish. Thanks and regards! Jz

This guy is an absolute monster that seems to have beat the game known as "guitar". First of all there are maybe a handful of people who can do one-note-per string alternate picking (used to be only Steve Morse), including this guy. Not only that, he has full control of the dynamics of playing (very difficult to do on guitar), and can play at probably 300bps+ with 100% accuracy. I don't know if there's a single piece of music out there on any instrument that he wouldn't be able to cover. I've played guitar for close to 20 years and this guy's skill is about as close to a machine as I've ever seen. Virtuoso among virtuosos. Superhuman beyond imagination.
