Also, for those who are unaware of the whole story about AntonBlast, it's basically that the devil just stole Anton's collection of booze for a tan and Anton is so angered by this that he decides to just destroy every levels in his path until he can find hell and blow it up as a way of teaching the devil a lesson.

Glad I caught wind of this while the kickstarter is still open. I'll be sure to back it the first chance I get, because the Wario Land series (especially 3 and 4) are my absolute favourite 2D platformers, and this is scratching that itch for me. Between this and Pizza Tower, it's great to see indie devs taking the reigns and making the kinds of games I grew up on.

Finished demo, and boy does this seem promising. I always loved wario land and this feels like something much closer to wario land 4 with its art style and gameplay instead of being much more smillar to sonic and wario land 2-3 like pizza tower. I also like how this is inspired by crash bandicoot another platformer that I absolutely love, maybe because of crates and green exploding crates that are just as anoyying to deal with like in crash,or maybe because that spinning move you have at your disposal or maybe because both feel like weird Saturday morning cartoon. Anyway I really liked what i seen and when it releases (and I will have some spare money) i will probably buy.

The key to a good Wario type of character design is to still use Mario as the template. Anton fits in well with the likes of Mario, Wario and also foreman Spike. Same goes for Peppino.
